I used mometasone furoate (a topical steroid cream) last night (for the first and ONLY time) on the base of my penis due to a minor skin allergy. Additionally, my wife and I are currently trying to conceive. When my dermatologist gave me the prescription for the mometasone furoate she knew I was trying to conceive and said it was OK to use.

Used mebhydrolin,cetrizine,fexofenadine, for prophylexis,got result but no complete recovery. Taking mometasone masal spray, got result, but not complete respite. How to get rid of it?

I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????

I then went to a dematologist and he suggested that clobetasol is too strong and prescribed mometasone. After more than two months, the mometasone has not made any difference. Can someone Id it from the picture and suggest alternate methods to treat it?

I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Beside that I ate very-very spice food on that day. It was so much spicy that it brought blood in my nasals.

By the next day the ringworm will be gone. My children got ringworm in school and a Fillipino lady cured them this way. In case it isn't ringworm that you have, you might want to try this on just one spot.

Heck yes it can be ringworm. Ringworm can cause folliculitis and present like this, especially early stages of it, or certain strains. Try applying an OTC anti-fungal ointment on the boils (clotrimazole `% twice daily or terbinafine once daily). If it's ringworm, you will see marked improvement after 1-2 days. You should keep applying the cream for the full treatment period though to make sure all the spores are gone. Run all clothes and bedlinens through a HOT dryer.

When i put Lotrimin on it, it stops growing and does eventually dry up but even though i used it for a while even after the ringworm cleared, i found another ringworm 5 months later (today). I'm really frustrated. My sister told me to use Triamcinolone acetonide for this new ringworm and the ointment is anti bacterial and not anti fungal. I'm a little skeptical to use it (i have seen pictures of numular eczema though and what i have does look like it once it spreads a little more).

ok so i have started gettin spots that look like ringworm it started on my elbow it was a patch that looked like ringworm but it took a while to go away even tho i was using the cream but now like weeks later im gettin little ringworm spots all over i have one on my cheek one above the eye 1 on each forearm one on my thigh and a few on my back they look just like ringworm to me they are small area's not noticeable much the ones on my body arms are red the ones on my face are just skin color

Ringworm won't look like a pimple- so I don't think the pimple is really associated, it's like just a pimple that will heal up. If you haven't seen it clear up with the creams your doctor gave you, I'd recommend heading back to your doctor to have a second look- I'd lean more towards it's likely eczema if the cream you were given didn't clear it up.

So I am pregnant and just saw today that I have ringworm. Will this affect my pregnancy? And if I use an anti-fungal ointment to treat the ringworm will it affect anything? Its in its beginning stages so its not bad at all right now.

It is very evident you have been symptom surfing. There are many causes of ringworm, least of all, a compromised Immune System from HIV. There is Nothing HIV specific about Ringworm.
