Really hard to say which will work better. Since like punk others prefer mdi. However it week be very valuable if you can get him a cgm (continuous glucose minitoring).
I used mometasone furoate (a topical steroid cream) last night (for the first and ONLY time) on the base of my penis due to a minor skin allergy. Additionally, my wife and I are currently trying to conceive. When my dermatologist gave me the prescription for the mometasone furoate she knew I was trying to conceive and said it was OK to use.
Used mebhydrolin,cetrizine,fexofenadine, for prophylexis,got result but no complete recovery. Taking mometasone masal spray, got result, but not complete respite. How to get rid of it?
Separate dosing of Lantus (long acting) and Humalog (short acting) where you inject each insulin separately (also called MDI for multi daily injections) is much more flexible. You test and adjust your basal insulin (lantus), then you dose your fast acting for each meal based on how much food / carbs/ protein you eat. You can also use your Humalog to correct for high blood sugars. Mixed insulin cannot be used to correct high blood sugars.
I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained.
But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
I then went to a dematologist and he suggested that clobetasol is too strong and prescribed mometasone. After more than two months, the mometasone has not made any difference.
Can someone Id it from the picture and suggest alternate methods to treat it?
Advair discus (realy any dry powder inhaler) has larger particles than MDI inhalers that land on the vocal cords and irritate them causing you to be hoarse. I would suggest that you ask your docotr about MDI alternatives. Advair Hfa is one. Others include Symbicort and Dulera.

All peoples in Mdi help are saying that you have not HIV but I am still very serious due eye strain, floaters, refraction and brittle nails.I am also sufferring from gas and acidity since 1 year. I am very scared what to do.
Dear Doc, Im 34 years old male. HPT since 2004 on Perindopril 6mg (ACE Inhibitors). Last January i have palpitations. ECG shown Probable LVH. I haven't done my Echo yet. Back then with ACE inhibitor my BP were not well controlled. So the Dr. change it to ARB Co-Approvel. I check my BP 3 times a day since February. My BP now are well controlled ranging from 105/66 - 136/85mmHg but usually its <130/90mmHg.
t help on the assistance side, but as cost of supplies are so high can you go back on MDI (injections) to at least reduce some of the costs.
Can you contact your pump supplier to ask if they have any assistance programmes for people in your situation?
You could ask your dr about Humalin-N and Humalin-R, which tend to be cheaper. But these are not available as mixed insulins and need to be taken as MDI (Humlin-N, twice a day, and humlin R- abouy 30 minutes before eating).
To Reduce insulin requirements, you can follow a low carb diet, reduce weight (if overweight), and add in daily exercise. This should be done under medical supervision as these measures may mean you can reduce your insulin / at risk of low blood sugars.
I take 500 MDI of Advair twice a day and spiriva. I still smoke a little a day. I also have to work in a hot humid kitchen in the summer. I started having panic attacks when I would get busy and I would get winded easily and fustrated. I am off work presently but I want to go back soon. I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Beside that I ate very-very spice food on that day. It was so much spicy that it brought blood in my nasals.

Are you taking MDI (multiple daily injections)? DO you know your basal and bolus rates? Ie. how much insulin you need when you don't eat (basal), and how much insulin to inject for how much carbs? And then how much insulin to use for corrextions in case you are high?
Using Insulin is a great book, also Think Like A Pancreas. If you can't get them from a local bookstore, you should be able to find them on Amazon.

Can I ask what insulins you take? Are you on pump or MDI (multiple daily injections). Is your basal insulin taken once or twice a day.
If you are going low from exercise, you may need to decrease your basal (this is easier if you are on a pump). Alternatively you may plan your exercise after eating and inject slightly less than usual insulin for the meal, as the exercise will naturally bring your blood sugars down.
He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
Since a few months, I have started getting boils all over the body. I have been already applying Mometasone Cream...but not having any effect. The boils are very itchy, infact my entire body is itchy. I take anti-allergic tablets to reduce itch but do not want to make it a habit. So, I do not take those tablets every day. My skin is extremely dry so I even massage with olive oil every day. The boils are filled with blood...no pus. Sometimes they dry up but flares up again quickly.
t concentrate properly, memory loss today the symptoms are feeling a little bit better i have a had all blood work done a brain mdi all normal the doctor said depression/anxeity could that cause all this they put me on sertraline two weeks ago
A dermatologist would probably use mometasone creme for a very short duration (five days) but needs to be prescribed, especially since the child is very young.Calamine is a home remedy for application but to the non-hairy zone.

So i stopped using wet wipes completely. My family doctor agreed with my theory and prescribed mometasone steroid cream to help speed up the healing process. after about two months of no wipes and mometasone, my problem was gone. Now if i even touch a baby wipe or adult wipe with my hand, i get a poison ivy-like rash, which is strange because i used both for years with no issues. Apparently, you can develop an allergy to anything at any time.
