What you describe is probably being caused by the inhaled steroid (ICS) in these 2 preparations fluticasone in the Advair® and budesonide in the Symbicort®. And, it may be dose related, so that the first step would be for you and your doctor to consider reducing the strength of the ICS. It is in the groin area and also behind my knees. Also some spots in my underarm and few in my shoulders. All the areas where there is usually excess sweat.
I went to my primary care physician first and he suggested clobetasol. It was hepful in stopping the itch but the dark patches remained. I then went to a dematologist and he suggested that clobetasol is too strong and prescribed mometasone. After more than two months, the mometasone has not made any difference.
You will all will be fine...relax there are so many more major things that you and your wife are exposed to on a daily basis that are 1000x more damaging to your health than mometasone furoate cream. Hell there is worse chemicals in your food than what's in the cream.
Used mebhydrolin,cetrizine,fexofenadine, for prophylexis,got result but no complete recovery. Taking mometasone masal spray, got result, but not complete respite. How to get rid of it?
I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained. He told me that I should use the cream for about 5 days. Today will be day 4 and I haven't seen a great reduction of the redness.
I was diagnosed with an exercise induced asthma and prescribed a 90 mcg albuterol inhaler. I didn't use it much as I was fine most of the time. But just recently I have been having to use my inhaler every few hours or so because if I don't I get really short breathed. I don't know what's going on and it's worrying me.
But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
So far, my asthma seems to be reasonably well controlled despite being in the middle of an infection. I saw my primary doctor today who felt that I am on too many different types of decongestants and my nasal cavity was very dry which could contribute to my persistent sore throat. I am finishing the medrol pack, antibiotics, continuing with advair and singular and taking one decongestant.
Alright i have had this skin condition since i was in 5th or 6th grade, i cannot get rid of it, and every time i go to my doctor he tells me its Excema which it is not,and i have told him that. It itches in no way shape or form, and isnt red. It is bumps all over my body, which every so often they will have whiteheads on them.
I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Beside that I ate very-very spice food on that day. It was so much spicy that it brought blood in my nasals.
I went through a set of medicines/creams and as of today, it is better (60-70% better). However, doctor was expecting it to be in a good condition or rather almost healed. Now, he has noted that skin has stopped healing somewhat and on both the sides of the balls area some pimples/rashes are still there.
So, he has suggested few skin/blood tests:
1. Complete Haemogram
2. Blood Glucose (Random - for sugar)
3. UGF
4. KOH (10%)
5. Pus Gram ST.

i was using mometasone furoate cream since 3 years and now i have stopped using it and so now my skin has dried so what should i do to recover my skin?
A dermatologist would probably use mometasone creme for a very short duration (five days) but needs to be prescribed, especially since the child is very young.Calamine is a home remedy for application but to the non-hairy zone.

I've recently went to a doctor because of a possible hemorrhoid problem. The skin around the anus was also red. He prescripted me a meconazole nitrate 2%-hydrocortizone 1% cream for the rash but I don't see it getting better! And do believe me this is much more annoying than the hemorrhoids themselves as I cannot freely move, go to the toilet or even touch it!
The whole area is red with a pale red line in the middle of it!
He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
Since a few months, I have started getting boils all over the body. I have been already applying Mometasone Cream...but not having any effect. The boils are very itchy, infact my entire body is itchy. I take anti-allergic tablets to reduce itch but do not want to make it a habit. So, I do not take those tablets every day. My skin is extremely dry so I even massage with olive oil every day. The boils are filled with blood...no pus. Sometimes they dry up but flares up again quickly.
i am 14 year boy, i have dark spots on my cheeks,they give a burning sensation when i go out in sun.Are they due to hard scrrubing or they are sunburns? a doctor prescribed me melaglow. but i stopped using it as i read that it contains steroids. I wanna know this disease and the right cure.
Some time he feels mild itching, no burning during urination and no pain in effected area. I applied Mupirocin ointment externally and given antibiotic Amoxycillin for 5 days on advise of a general doctor, no improvement. Now I applying Mometasone furoate USP ointment and giving anti allergic tonic Avil since 7 days on advice of one dermatologist but till now no improvement found. Should he continue with the same medicines? What may be the cause of such symptom?
