Avatar n tn I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained.

Avatar m tn d originally been on Asmanex (200mcg mometasone furoate, two hits a day), now on Dulera (200mcg mometasone fuorate + 5mcg formoterol fumarate dihydrate, two hits TWICE a day), plus an anti-histamine. I also have an albuterol rescue inhaler, that I've had to take almost daily. While the inhalers work wonderfully against outdoor allergens - I'm totally fine outside on a high-pollen + bad air quality day, but as soon as I come back inside, I can feel my lungs slowly seal up.
Avatar n tn I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. Avatar f tn My doctor let me have Viread. I checked online at pharmacy checker. Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablet and Viread Tablet, are they the same in treatment wise? I went to CVS store, it cost 1000 USD to 30/300mg for Viread Tablet. is it too expensive? The staff there told me generic tablet is not available. But why I see it online as I said earlier? What happens if I take brand and then switch to generic like a year later? Will the generic medicine do the same? Thank you.
Avatar m tn Bazinet and colleagues[17] conducted a randomized, controlled trial assessing the safety and efficacy of REP 2139 and a REP 2139 derivative with improved clearance (REP 2165) infused once a week in combination with tenofovir disoproxil fumarate and pegylated interferon alpha-2a in treatment-naive patients with chronic HBeAg-negative infection. This triple-combination therapy was well tolerated in all patients, and no infusion reactions were observed with either NAP.
Avatar f tn That is actually not much better than tenofovir vs tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, the actual substance in Viread. It is 50 times more potent than tenofovir. It is all this improper simplification of callling viread tenofovir. Tenovovir, if it would be given orally, would have no effect on HBV. TEnofovir if given intravenously or sc would still have almost no effect on HBV in the liver. the substance has a high negative charge and cannot easlily penetrate cell membranes.
Avatar m tn He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week. Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
Avatar m tn Since a few months, I have started getting boils all over the body. I have been already applying Mometasone Cream...but not having any effect. The boils are very itchy, infact my entire body is itchy. I take anti-allergic tablets to reduce itch but do not want to make it a habit. So, I do not take those tablets every day. My skin is extremely dry so I even massage with olive oil every day. The boils are filled with blood...no pus. Sometimes they dry up but flares up again quickly.

Avatar m tn So i stopped using wet wipes completely. My family doctor agreed with my theory and prescribed mometasone steroid cream to help speed up the healing process. after about two months of no wipes and mometasone, my problem was gone. Now if i even touch a baby wipe or adult wipe with my hand, i get a poison ivy-like rash, which is strange because i used both for years with no issues. Apparently, you can develop an allergy to anything at any time.

1202943 tn?1347840652 This may be a bit aggressive for some patients. I started with 28 mg of Ferrous fumarate daily for several weeks, then increased, Right now I am taking 3 capsules, so a total of 84 mg daily, along with Vitamin C, as recommended. My ferritin started at 40 and at last test was 80, so a good improvement. Both ferrous fumarate and ferrous gluconate are good.
