I got the same problem I have to go tomorrow to see the doctor but so far it seems that furoate mometasone causes a lot of side effects and skin reactions. I stopped it for 3 weeks already and my skin still looks like s**t but the doctor told DO NOT USE it!
You will all will be fine...relax there are so many more major things that you and your wife are exposed to on a daily basis that are 1000x more damaging to your health than mometasone furoate cream. Hell there is worse chemicals in your food than what's in the cream.
But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained.

It is true that long term use of steroids is not without side effects and the side effects include skin thinning, atrophy, telangiectasia and steroid induced rosacea. To tackle these side effects it is advisable to taper the dose of steroids under your dermatologist’s guidance and then start again after a few days. Also treatment can be changed after a period of time and a combination of treatments is used.

I have followed all these directions for months now to no avail. The creams did help after using them for a couple weeks, but when I stop, the itching comes back.

It is not unusual for individuals to have side effects when they begin using a retinol product. Most manufacturers recommend beginning with 2 applications a week for the first week or so depending on how your skin reacts. After that you can increase to every other night and then to every night as your skin adjusts. I have used several products with retinol and this has always been the case for me. I do not have sensitive skin.
So i stopped using wet wipes completely. My family doctor agreed with my theory and prescribed mometasone steroid cream to help speed up the healing process. after about two months of no wipes and mometasone, my problem was gone. Now if i even touch a baby wipe or adult wipe with my hand, i get a poison ivy-like rash, which is strange because i used both for years with no issues. Apparently, you can develop an allergy to anything at any time.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to manage some side effects I have been experiancing.I feel nausiated all day everyday.It seems the best time of day is in the morning.That`s when I actually feel a little hungery.But then after I eat I get sick.I have no apetite at all the rest of the day.I force myself to eat,but then without fail,I get sick. I am starting to drop weight that I really can`t afford to lose.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I searched on the net and found that the dark patches are hyper pigmentation or melasma. one more thing this dark brownish area gets darker when i am tensed.
I want to know for general medical knowledge that if there are no results, does it also mean that corticosteroid will be unable to produce any of the side effects since body is not responding.
I know that corticosteroid used in nasal sprays is anyways local application only but it also has " increased eye pressure" as a rare side effect. my eye pressures hover around 20-22 , how safe for someone like me would it be to take and for how long ?
It checked out by doctor recently and advised HH DERM cream (Mometasone furoate +Fusidic Acid + Clotrimazole ), told not an STD. I first see some little red line like a small break on the foreskin after sex in the morning though I used condom and use dettol liquid while bathing . I doubt using of dettol liquid with water while bathing is reason for it.

I have no personal experience with sinechatechins (Veregen); we don't use it in my STD clinic. The reports in the medical literature indicate it works no faster and no better (and no worse) than other genital wart treatments. All available wart treatments work well about two thirds of the time and none is significantly better than any others. If one treatment doesn't promptly clear up the warts, we switch to another.

It looks like hypopigmented patches as a result of side effect of the steroid cream. It is very difficult to treat but sometimes it goes away on its own after exposure to the sun. Creams like Elidel cream or Protropic can be used on these hypopigmented areas but they should be used only after consulting a dermatologist . If the symptoms still persist then you can talk to your dermatologist about laser-assisted chemabrasion(LACA).
He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week.
Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
Since a few months, I have started getting boils all over the body. I have been already applying Mometasone Cream...but not having any effect. The boils are very itchy, infact my entire body is itchy. I take anti-allergic tablets to reduce itch but do not want to make it a habit. So, I do not take those tablets every day. My skin is extremely dry so I even massage with olive oil every day. The boils are filled with blood...no pus. Sometimes they dry up but flares up again quickly.
