212161 tn?1599427282 I have to honestly say that Asmanex worked really really well for me. I have mild to moderate asthma. I have had asthma for nine years. For seven years I was on Pulmicort 200 twice a day until the company changed their product to flexhailer. The flexhailer just didnt work like the turbuhalor. Then thats when I switched over to asmanex 220 and then when the heart palpatatioins happend i ended up stopping it and goign to flovent diskus 250 twice a day. That helped but wasnt like the asmanex.
212161 tn?1599427282 You probably do have asthma, but everything that wheezes is not asthma and there could be another cause of your wheezing, especially if the wheezing is localized to only one side of your chest or seems to be coming from your windpipe. Your never having had asthma before can only strengthen the suspicion that the cause of the wheezing may not be asthma.
Avatar m tn Hypoallergenic bedding with asthma approval Vacuum 2-3 times weekly Dust 2-3 weekly Wear a respirator when cleaning Removed Milk and Pop from diet Regular workout (I do not have any issues while being active) Steam Shower Nightly (This is recent but has been helping immensely) Air purifiers (Home and Work) Humidifiers (Home) Removed all scents (cologne, soaps, air fresheners, etc.
Avatar n tn Along these same lines, unless your doctor is absolutely certain that you have persistent asthma, you might be able to get by without an ICS. You should, without fail, always use a spacer with the inhaler and rinse your mouth and gargle after each treatment. Then you and your doctor might want to try yet a different ICS; one that has been associated with fewer side effects, such as Asmanex® Twisthaler® 220 mcg (mometasone furoate inhalation powder).
Avatar m tn I used mometasone furoate (a topical steroid cream) last night (for the first and ONLY time) on the base of my penis due to a minor skin allergy. Additionally, my wife and I are currently trying to conceive. When my dermatologist gave me the prescription for the mometasone furoate she knew I was trying to conceive and said it was OK to use.
Avatar m tn Used mebhydrolin, cetrizine, fexofenadine, for prophylexis, got result but no complete recovery. Taking mometasone masal spray, got result, but not complete respite. How to get rid of it?
Avatar n tn I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained.
Avatar m tn But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
Avatar m tn I was diagnosed with an exercise induced asthma and prescribed a 90 mcg albuterol inhaler. I didn't use it much as I was fine most of the time. But just recently I have been having to use my inhaler every few hours or so because if I don't I get really short breathed. I don't know what's going on and it's worrying me.
Avatar m tn I then went to a dematologist and he suggested that clobetasol is too strong and prescribed mometasone. After more than two months, the mometasone has not made any difference. Can someone Id it from the picture and suggest alternate methods to treat it?
Avatar m tn d originally been on Asmanex (200mcg mometasone furoate, two hits a day), now on Dulera (200mcg mometasone fuorate + 5mcg formoterol fumarate dihydrate, two hits TWICE a day), plus an anti-histamine. I also have an albuterol rescue inhaler, that I've had to take almost daily. While the inhalers work wonderfully against outdoor allergens - I'm totally fine outside on a high-pollen + bad air quality day, but as soon as I come back inside, I can feel my lungs slowly seal up.
Avatar f tn The doctor felt that my lungs being in bronchiospam (asthma) could have caused this positive allergy test result without identifying any specific allergens. Is it possible for a flare up to cause the test to be positive for an allergic reaction? Today, the doctor did not hear wheezing but when I took a deep breath in, it triggered coughing. In addition to my current advair, singular, xyzal and nasocort.
Avatar n tn I havnt been able to swim for years because im to embarressed of how it looks, and if it spreads to my lower arms i wont even be able to wear a tee-shirt to cover it up. Avatar n tn I had some dry skin patches problem for same I was taking the treatment. My Dr prescribed me to use Mometasone Furoate cream for dry patches on my skin. But while travelling in a flight I felt my whole face was drying up severly so I applied it on my face around 5-6 time (after applying my moisturizer first ) on same day. Beside that I ate very-very spice food on that day. It was so much spicy that it brought blood in my nasals.
Avatar n tn i was using mometasone furoate cream since 3 years and now i have stopped using it and so now my skin has dried so what should i do to recover my skin?

Avatar m tn He prescribed first NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE which i used for 2 weeks without any result, then he prescribed MOMETASONE FUROATE 0.1% which made the situation worse. i then decided to visit a dermatologist which he prescribed HYDROCORTISONE CREAM 2.5% twice a day for a month. 1 month has passed by but i don’t see any improvement at all. I have been single for over a year and masturbate 1-2 a week. Could it be an internal infection instead of external?
Avatar m tn Since a few months, I have started getting boils all over the body. I have been already applying Mometasone Cream...but not having any effect. The boils are very itchy, infact my entire body is itchy. I take anti-allergic tablets to reduce itch but do not want to make it a habit. So, I do not take those tablets every day. My skin is extremely dry so I even massage with olive oil every day. The boils are filled with blood...no pus. Sometimes they dry up but flares up again quickly.
Avatar n tn A dermatologist would probably use mometasone creme for a very short duration (five days) but needs to be prescribed, especially since the child is very young.Calamine is a home remedy for application but to the non-hairy zone. Do consult your doc.
Avatar m tn So i stopped using wet wipes completely. My family doctor agreed with my theory and prescribed mometasone steroid cream to help speed up the healing process. after about two months of no wipes and mometasone, my problem was gone. Now if i even touch a baby wipe or adult wipe with my hand, i get a poison ivy-like rash, which is strange because i used both for years with no issues. Apparently, you can develop an allergy to anything at any time.
168348 tn?1379357075 My daughter who has severe pollen and env. allergies/asthma is reacting to the newly installed cedar mulch in our garden beds! So much so, that she couldn't sit outside yesterday due to itchiness and then developed hives! It's down for only 48 hrs so we are hoping it'll settle down and be ok once the dust stays put. This is awful .
5675247 tn?1372384225 Hello, Melacare is a bleaching agent containing hydroquinone, tretinoin, and mometasone (topical steroid). Both hydroquinone and mometasone have serious side effects. You should consult a dermatologist and then stop the cream. If it still persists then you can go in for laser treatment, Chemical peeling or microdermabrasion. Avoid picking, harsh scrubbing, and abrasive treatments unless prescribed by a dermatologist during this period.

Avatar f tn But, itching would always drive me nuts after a couple of days. I am prone to eczema on my torso and even tried Mometasone Furoate Rx cream on it. But I only did a couple days treatment and quit. I went to a dermatologist and she gave me a sample of Ketaconazole foam. That didn't work. Recently, the spots on my scalp spread to the other side of my head and I really began to feel despair. Something needed to be done. Recently, I had my eczema cream refilled for my torso rash.
