But my doctor prescribed me to apply mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream twice a day for 3 days and no moisturizer with a Cafadroxil Tablet. I am bit worried about the dryness and healing part. Over all my skin type is oily. But till now what I have heard after a laser resurfacing moisturizer is must. Please help and let me knw that is use of mometasone furoate and fusidic acid cream is good fpr post laser resurfacing treatment without moisturizer??????
I used mometasone furoate (a topical steroid cream) last night (for the first and ONLY time) on the base of my penis due to a minor skin allergy. Additionally, my wife and I are currently trying to conceive. When my dermatologist gave me the prescription for the mometasone furoate she knew I was trying to conceive and said it was OK to use.
I had posted here before about a different condition, but I noticed something the other day that concerned me a little. I noticed that there was some redness on my scrotum and a slight burning sensation. I had been in a thermal pool the day earlier, so I thought it might be something like contact dermatitis. I went to the doctor he prescribed mometasone furoate cream. I haven't noticed any burning sensation as I had earlier this week but the redness has remained.
I then went to a dematologist and he suggested that clobetasol is too strong and prescribed mometasone. After more than two months, the mometasone has not made any difference.
Can someone Id it from the picture and suggest alternate methods to treat it?

I've been using all sorts of fungal infection over the counter creams , tea tree oil, gatlic and ACV it hasn't disappeared yet I've been really self cautious and going into a depressed state I'm a social butterfly and have been home for about a month due to this rash please help what else can be done???
I got the same problem I have to go tomorrow to see the doctor but so far it seems that furoate mometasone causes a lot of side effects and skin reactions. I stopped it for 3 weeks already and my skin still looks like s**t but the doctor told DO NOT USE it!
t going away and was getting extremely annoying I went to my gyn. She looked and saw fissures and gave me some cream that had in it stuff that they used to treat high blood pressure but it was in cream form. She also gave me something for the itching. It didn't work at all. Went back in and she said it looked like a yeast infection. She prescribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone. It cleared it right up. However it came back about a week and a half later. Then I was given fluconazole.

My 6 yr. old son has been diagnosed with epidermal nevi...he has plaque on his neck and it continues to expand all around his scalp. We have tried laser treatment and it had no effect. He recently had surgery to take some biopsies and they removed a thin line of plaque from his neck. My question is this...when he gets hot and perspires, it becomes very itchy for him. Is there any kind of topical cream that i can rub on the areas to alleviate this??
Some time he feels mild itching, no burning during urination and no pain in effected area. I applied Mupirocin ointment externally and given antibiotic Amoxycillin for 5 days on advise of a general doctor, no improvement. Now I applying Mometasone furoate USP ointment and giving anti allergic tonic Avil since 7 days on advice of one dermatologist but till now no improvement found. Using a steroid cream such as hydrocortisone is sometimes successful in helping control the hives out break and relieve the itching. I was prescribed a stronger steroid called Mometasone Furoate Cream usp 0.1%. In my case it's absolutely life saving!!
To add onto that, i did have slightly drier nipples/areola but I do have eczema and a lot of allergies. I put some mometasone crram on it yesterday it is not as dry anymore.
Hello, i have had a rash for almost 3 months and it was originally diagnosed as atopic dermatitis by my dr. He prescribed me Mometasone furoate 0.1%. I used about a tube and half of this cream rather quickly about 3-4 days on my bakc, chest, arms, groin area. After the rash appeared to have gone away, it would come back after i would work out and sweat. After the rash continued to appear i went to my dermatologist where they took two biopsies of skin from my back.
