Hello, my doctor gave me some samples of this, I was looking it up and saw the above post, continued to search and I found where someone on here said that PV's generic is Modafinil and there are other names Alertec and Modalert. I don't know if this will help you but it is worth checking into. My insurance would not pay at first, my doctor had to fill out a form justifying it.

Vyvanse is metabolized differently, so could last longer in your system. It was done so you could not snort it like you can with Adderall. Adderall gives a stronger first "hit". V is smoother and takes longer to take effect so may not be as noticeable. Also the Dose of V should be 30mg compared to 10mgs of adderall XR to be somewhat equal.

I know what you mean when you refer to Adderall as "that nasty, gross stimulant." I have been taking a total of 30 mg Adderall for about 6 mths now. It works great during the day, and has changed my life tremendously. I am able to complete the 200 projects that I start on everyday. But insomnia has made me it's ***** at night! You mention how V is now causing you anxiety. While that can happen, something like adderall is much more prone to do so.

She is really pushing Vyvanse even though I told her I am an addict and one of my drugs of choice was Adderal which the Rehab says is actually "speed". Isn't Vyvance a type of "speed" also. Hey I am worried about my sister! She is on Vyvanse right now at thiry mgs but does NOT take it daily. Her husband takes twenty mgs of Adderall daily, and sometimes she will take an adderall instead of a vyvanse. Is this safe?? Hi. I need some help figuring out how Modafinil works. I basically have something which seems like Insomnia but it isn't. I believe I suffer from Delayed Sleep Phase Syndrome. I have had it since I was 15, I am 25 now. The problem is that, I can't maintain a proper schedule. I can never sleep at a particular time everyday. It keeps moving as every day passes by. I am paying more than you - I have high deductible insurance but took the hit because I needed a replacement for amantadine to help with fatigue. Thought I was ok until the amantadine worked its way out of my system and then I crashed. But new drug is giving me BP problems. Is anyone taking the drug with NO BP problems? How much can you take?
