Mixing vyvanse and weed

Common Questions and Answers about Mixing vyvanse and weed

vyvanse

I would venture to guess that the weed/Vyvanse combo set something off. I've smoked my fair share in the past and absolutely cannot on Vyvanse or similar drugs. My brother in-law had a similar experience when he was about 16/17. He mixed many drugs and his brain sort of snapped. He has a family history of bi-polar. Some people have a genetic disposition for disorders and they lay dormant until something activates it, like a weed/meth combo. I know you are scared.
it started with marijuana at age 16, then vicoden/norco, by 17 it was extacy until about age 19, mushrooms from age 17-20, and by the time i reached 19 i was using cocaine combine with xanax AT LEAST once a week. Although i am not proud of it, I can admit that I am an addict. It finally took me being arrested as a wake up call, i had to go to drug classes and pay allot of money for being under the influence of cocane and xanax.
Ryannn94, First of all, I am very sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time; not only medically but with your friends, school, and stresses of everything else. I can surely sympathize with you and remember the confusion, frustration, and anger of emotions I felt trying to sort through everything. PLEASE HANG IN THERE!!!! First, some kinda good news: I have experience with the medications you are taking. I take them both now and have for a long time.
im a 17 year old male who's been on & off different medications for 3 years before i tried "vyanse" last last year at around this time. I went from 20mg to 30mg then to 50mg & took it till the end of may then stopped because of summer. I again started taking it in August & took it 5 months straight, & actully had increased its dosage to 60mg early December. I ran out on the 21st & stopes taking anymore until January 3rd, the day we came back from Christmas break.
U have already had the worst of it and now, they will begin to taper off and get better and better. The irritability may last a little longer, but not much I imagine. Anyway, congrats. U took the meds like u should and didnt ever get into trouble w/ them. That says a lot to me. Anyway, that makes a difference during all of this, in my opinion. Stay positive and by the end of the weekend, I bet they are a memory, distand I hope. How is your pain now? Do u have another way to manage it?
Unfortunately, that did not last. I started having the same signs again, and when I tested it was positive again. And ever since I can't get it to be negative again, meaning the candida if that is what I have has become resistant to the supplements that I was using. As I started a new treatment, I will take the test this week-end to see if there is any progress.
