I would venture to guess that the weed/Vyvanse combo set something off. I've smoked my fair share in the past and absolutely cannot on Vyvanse or similar drugs. My brother in-law had a similar experience when he was about 16/17. He mixed many drugs and his brain sort of snapped. He has a family history of bi-polar. Some people have a genetic disposition for disorders and they lay dormant until something activates it, like a weed/meth combo. I know you are scared.
t be using Marjuana ,and I am sure that both together are and apart are not good for your body and that it call destroy your brain. A lot of these drugs are like street drugs and can cause you more health problems.
Instead of taken the drugs, you should take Vitamin B6 and Omega 3-6-9 every day .

First of all, I am very sorry to hear that you are having such a difficult time; not only medically but with your friends, school, and stresses of everything else. I can surely sympathize with you and remember the confusion, frustration, and anger of emotions I felt trying to sort through everything. PLEASE HANG IN THERE!!!!
First, some kinda good news: I have experience with the medications you are taking. I take them both now and have for a long time.
im a 17 year old male who's been on & off different medications for 3 years before i tried "vyanse" last last year at around this time. I went from 20mg to 30mg then to 50mg & took it till the end of may then stopped because of summer. I again started taking it in August & took it 5 months straight, & actully had increased its dosage to 60mg early December.
I partied hard when I was 18, did some drugs but nothing too crazy, and only smoked weed over the last 10 years or so.
Now I am ready to stop smoking weed, and focus on the new meds I am taking but I need to get everything in order.
I've been smoking weed to allieviate some of my ADHD. It worked, but as doctor told me, Marijuana has a anti-anxiety effect, but when it wears off it actually causes you to increase your anxiety overall and its therefore very bad for me long term.

I found I could get by on 2mg a day as well as 8mg. When I did come off I had a relatively easy time of it compared to people on 24-32mg a day. Give it time to build up in your system before you say it's not working. Even at 2mg you're taking it in faster than your body can eliminate it due to the long half life.
I am taking Vyvanse and Prozac, and I'm having trouble getting myself to eat. I am still in a healthy weight range, so I'm not worried about that. But I've been weak, fatigued, and dizzy at times because I'm not eating enough. Are there any protein shakes I should try, or something like that, so I can be getting the nutrients I need? I hate most protein shakes because I can't stand the texture, and they're usually gross. But I have to do something.
I use to take this and realized how dangerous it really was. Did you try Vyvanse? My 11 year old son takes this and has really works great. It may not work but it is definitely worth a try and straterra is so so dangerous and most of the time does not even help.

Hi there, looking for insight on lifestyle habits to better manage bipolar and ADHD disorder. Taking 600mg of lithium and 30mg of vyvanse. Wondering what nutrition choices, sleep patterns and work loads people adopt to better manage there experences with or without the medication. Also looking for information on dealing with anxiety as a result of school stress and side effects from medication.
My 10 year old son, who is ADHD, was taking 30 mg of Vyvanse and it worked fine for like a month and half. The doctor increased his dosage to 40 mg and it was working great, but again the effects seemed to have diminished in two months. The doctor recommended to keep him in the 40 mg of Vyvanse, which he takes in the morning, and in the evening give him 1 mg of Intuniv. Do you know if that will help with his concentration at school?
I started to try different doses of Vyvanse and Adderall, starting at 10mg Vyvanse and going up to 50mg, and starting at 5mg Adderall (IR) and increasing to 10, at most, 4x a day. All of these medications seemed to increase my depressive symptoms, and since I wasn't really retaining much or cognizant of how I was doing, I ended up going three weeks without touching my homework, going to class or talking to my friends.
On a second note; even if weed does become completely legal, it's going to be a fad. People are going to buy into it in a hurry and realize that it's side effects far outweigh the benefits. Even on a recreational level, people in this country will grow weary of it. Far too many people become lumps on a couch when smoking it. American recreational culture isn't about 'chilling' out, it's about being able to 'chill out' and still hit the bars and night clubs hard.
