Hi Everyone, We're so glad to see you here. Please come in and make yourself at home.
By the afternoon I was sore, and by evening I was very sore. Today I was sore again, and by afternoon my knee and thigh were tightening up, so I went ahead and took 200 mg of gabapentin. I have never allowed myself to take pain meds to take all the pain away. I take enough to make it more tolerable to do my daily routine. My goal for working out is going to be another 10 minute elliptical tomorrow. Then I will do 10 minutes on Mon/Wed/Fri and a pilates workout on Tue/Thur/Sat.

I am also taking ibuprofen 600mg up to 4 times a day, robaxin during the day and a flexeril at bedtime as needed, a narcotic pain medication as needed, and ultram as needed for pain. However i don't take both pain medications in the same day its one or the other because I am not sure how mixing them is. I have also had issues with hemorriods, bleeding, and urgency since my son was born. I have had several hemorriods including two external prolapsed. Those we small though.
Actually getting a prescription for Soma is getting more harder everyday, lots of doctors will not prescribe it for any reason, so what that doctor did is not unheard of. I guess when mixing soma with prescription pain meds like hydrocodone and oxycodone gives the person a heroin like high...atleast thats what I've heard and been told by many doctors and nurses.
i think anything i say to my doc will fall on deaf ears and if anything he will cut me off, which would be devistating, i still depend on that month supply and hardly any doctors will presribe Soma anymore, and i cant stand flexeril just makes me fall asleep. i guess i need to keep looking for another doctor.
I get these unexplained chills all the time, where im freezing cold with goose bumps all over my body. They hurt and I can barely walk they are so bad sometimes. I check my temp when I get these episodes and its perfectly normal. I do not have a infection or am not sick. Im not even in a cold environment. Everyone around me is not cold. Its the weirdest thing, and I cant find a answer for it. Its like my body is messed up and sending these chills for no reason. Please help.
I was taking 6-8 10mg vicodin a day. I went cold turkey and did it in a semi truck! My bf is a truck driver and I am on the road with him. If I can do it, so can you!
I take between 8 and 10 EVERY day. It started from needing pain relief from migraines and took off from there. The migrains are no longer a problem. I am in very poor condition in the morning till I take two. Please if any one knows of a tapering schedule or has been there I will appreciate anything you have to say. I am aware of seizures. That is why I need help from another fioricet addict (recovering)or on a taper. The people on this forum are so kind, I am so glad I have found you all.
After quitting the DC and taking Zantac it slowly went away, then I got on a major health kick that lasted over 10 years and I didn't have a problem until 4 years ago when I started drinking DC again and mixing rum with it (and daily coffee too). I suspect that most of the previous entrys have some sort of gastritis, ulcer, duodenitis etc, and many are not telling the whole truth or lying to themselves. This comes down to what we eat and drink. Are you drinking coffee?, soda?
