Hello mom and welcome. Heroin and ambien are both central nervous system depressants. Taken together it is very dangerous as they both depress the respiratory and central nervous system. How old is your son? Does he live with you? How long has he been Abusing drugs for?

I've been on ambien for over a year and just started taking percocets for a knee injury about 3 months ago. i've just tryed to go cold turkey off these drugs just because I know its not healthy. I keep seeking spiritual advice but is there something else that can be done and is it normal to feel so awful.( diahrea, hot and cold flashes, crying uncontrollably, restless legs, and insomnia of course? How long does these awful symptoms normally last?

I just started pain management yesterday for thoracic outlet syndrome I'm in physical therapy I go two times a week and am trying to do anything to keep me from surgery. But anyways the pain doc I went to was a big butthole to me since he has never heard of what I have he almost didn't help even tho my thoracic doc requested me to go to him.

t know about an overdose, but taking more than you are supposed to can cause sleep walking, but in my case it was sleep driving. It is very dangerous and you should not play around with it. I HATE AMBIEN!!!

over the past six months i have become increasingly dependent on all three. on nights that i drink i don't take anything till i wake up early morning and more often than not take 1/2 of .5 clonaz. to relax and get back to sleep. On nights that i don't drink i take ambien 10mg. i find that i can't sleep w/o it. aghhh The dr. precribed both ambien and clonazepam a while back when i began to have panic attacks and long bouts of insomnia.

I have told people over and over about my experiences with ambien (sleep driving, sleep eating, and hair loss). It made me lose all grips on reality. It also destroyed me physicall and mentally. I wished I would have never heard of the c r a p. I have been clean from it for 6 months and I hope I never experience anything like it again. It was my fault because I wasn't taking it as prescribed. Whatever you do, only take one at bedtime.

If you have the same doctor prescribing the gabapentin and the ambien, the safety of mixing those two medications would be a question best asked of your doctor. And while 5HTP is more than likely not prescribed, a doctor should be able to address that as well.

The methadone i have never found to cause ant adverse reactions.I no longer double doctor and buy oxycontin and worry about running out.In my opinion the benefits are worth the risk.

tylenol pm or anything over the counter sleep wise is not addicting, though you can always get a mental craving or feeling that you "need" to take it to get to sleep, but ambien can actaully cause a real addiction which includes mentally and physically addictive.

re under age so knock it off. Second,alcohol is a depressant in and of itself. And,lastly, if you read the drug info on Paxil it clearly states that it should not be mixed with alcohol. You need to stop drinking and let the Paxil do it's job. Okay? V.

not enough to even worry about right now, though. Ambien is of course a new sleep aid and the jury is still out. People have amnesia on ambien. They go to sleep, but then wake and do silly/stupid stuff. They have no recollection of this after they awaken. One case went so far as to claim a homicide that the defendant had no memory of. That one did not work. A tolerance and dependance will develop with the zanax if used for a great length of time.

I'm only 55 hours into this, and I'd really rather just be dead. I'm cross addicted to everything. I gave up and took ambien last night. Woke up in a DRENCHED t shirt and sweat. I can't stand the sight of myself or anyone. I'm NOT going to touch oxy or morphine to get through this. Please I pray I don't die. My eyes are watering like a fountain, I'm coughing, wrenching, nausea and my face looks on fire. And the smell!

I did not take any Vicodin ... I took an ambien and a zanaflex ( short acting Muscle relaxer) last night to sleep. I just thought in 24 hours I would see something... and like I said ... I am in pain ... but its the exact pain I always have. So you think that my w/d is just going to take longer to start ... why ? can you explain...

I really would like to learn to be more relaxed and lose the anxiety (it is a lot better since kicking the beer) I have gotten back to more of my old self picking up my hobbies and gym routine again. Still not 100% and definitely want to wean off the Xanax and the ambien then finally the Lexapro when ready. I think I am good with the alcohol I have even been out twice to bars with friends and had water both times knowing how bad mixing these pills and drinking was for me.

I am about to detox from 3 months of a littlebit of fentanyl and oxycontin. I have flexural, ambien, and diazepam. Will these help or is there anything else that will? Thank you very much. Your input is apprechiatted. I know I have a problem and I am getting help after detox.

i have never developed a tolerence to ambien and have used it off and on for over 10 years///i still take around 2.5 mg and it works...it is not a drug to take and "stay up"..it is designed to be taken right before u get in the bed...drinking on it is a no no as u will black out.....and people do abuse it..take it a stay up and party and stuff...how i do not know as i am asleep 10 minutes later U r taking 3 drugs...r u sure it is the ambien? it could be a mixture?

I had a baby then didnt eat for about a month so lost all of the pregnancy weight and was back to my normal weight and now I am two stone heavier than when I fell pregnant. Just constantly hungry all of the time with the meds. Haven't suffered from constipation so I guess that I have to be thankful for something!

Just deal with it. Its serious effects last for 3 to 4 days. And you feel tiered and slow and slugesh for a mounth. And wont beable to sleep for a mouth. Whene its over you feel better than. You did whene you started?

Use this forum and post and read. You have to pull strength from your toenails and get through it. Then you can have your life back.

I havent taken Hydrocodone in 5 years and Ive never taken Oxycontin. The dr doesnt believe me and Im probably gonna be released because of it. I cant make him believe me. Can anyone tell me if any of the following drugs can give a false positive for Hydrocodone or Oxycontin. The following drugs are all i take, No more and no less. Fentanyl 50mcg. Tylenol3, Tylenol, Norflex, Ambien,Seroquel, Cymbalta, Ibuprofen and Naproxen. PLEASE HELP!!!!

And also, I want to know the effects of mixing Paxil, Lithium and Adderall together. I was on those drugs in my teens and it seems like now my memory is really bad. Does anyone know if there are any long term effects on your memory from any of these drugs or mixing these drugs? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I have been clean of prescription medication (opiates) for 21 days now. I had 4 different surgeries on my shoulder last year to try and piece it back together after a bad fall. I was given what seemed like an almost unlimited supply of oxycontin, hydrocodone, along with Xanax to help with pain management and anxiety issues. I must say that this injury and the following surgeries are the worst pain I have ever had in my 43 years on earth.

I have already caught him once mixing klonopin and his methadone. But I am still very suspicious that he has do so over the week end at his parents house. I was just wondering if you could advise me as to what signs to watch for if I don't catch him right away. Like what the normal side effects within a day or two after that I would be looking for.
