I had an ultrasound at 7 weeks saw a form of baby and heartbeat.
I understand how hard a miscarriage is. However, waiting doesn't change the outcome of the pregnancy-sometimes the embryo just doesn't implant correctly or it's just not strong enough. The ultra sound will not cause a miscarriage. It's actually good to get one. My dr does a simple internal one at the 1st visit, this helps them determine how far along you are, & if the baby is implanted correctly.
C done and then this one which was a complete miscarriage. So I dont know why Im having problems carrying a baby now. My first pregnancy I had no problems or complications with so, I really dont know what to do or what to think. Maybe something is wrong with me....
How do you prepare yourself for the ultrasound without so much anxiety? I am praying for good news that there is a healthy baby with a good heartbeat.
I have my first ultrasound and I'm really nervous. I had a miscarriage last year so I'm scared. I'm 13 weeks and I'm assuming my doctor hasn't found anything thus far to be worried about since he hasn't rushed or said anything. Has anyone else had this problem after a miscarriage?

after the ultrasound you will so much better:-) I to had a miscarriage before so with my baby now I'm 22 weeks i still worry but when I see it or hear it I'm good.

At 5 weeks its way to early to see anything in an ultrasound. If you want to see baby ask for a vaginal ultrasound. I was 7 weeks for my first and they had to do a vaginal ultrasound to see and measure everything. So i wouldn't worry if your HCG levels are moving up.
just went into a free pregnancy clinic and had an ultrasound done, they said I'm 7 weeks and they couldn't find a heart beat. Am I holding on to a false hope that it's just too early? I've had no bleeding or cramping and my morning sickness is horrible.

( the next week I went in to do dnc and Dr did ultrasound to check again there was nothing but black fuzzy spots on the screen floating in my uterus :(( prayers her way that this is not her case and that she's just not far enough along

I had my ultrasound today and after just having a miscarriage, my 6wk 3day old baby is visable with a healthy heartbeat :) I'm happy but unfortunately my bf isn't and says were not ready for this and I don't have any support from him. I don't know what to do. I know what I want to do but I feel like it's not fair to have a child with someone who doesn't want one. I'm so confused!

plus side, it only took me 4 mos to get pregnant again and im 14wks now.
Last night I started spotting brown blood and had some mild cramping. I went to my obgyn today and he did a internal ultrasound to check on the baby. Problem is he saw nothing. There was a small blurb on the screen he said could be a sac but it is smaller than should be at this point in a pregnancy. He sent me to get blood work again to compare hcg levels but felt positive it was a miscarriage. Could he be wrong?
You are having either a miscarriage or a missed miscarriage. In a normal pregnancy levels double every 48-72 hours. The fact that yours are going down indicates that you are not experiancing a normal pregnancy. Until your levels reach 0 you are "still pregnant" but if any tissue is in there or you haven't actually expelled the baby then you will continue to have hcg in your system that will case weird levels that drop slowly.
I just left the hospital and they diagnosed me with an miscarriage. I'm having hope and hoping that they're just saying that because they couldn't see the baby in the ultrasound because I'm so early. I'm only 7 weeks and I'm praying they made a mistake could it be possible.

All I seen was the sac and when she moved the stick around u could tell something was there but like it was far away like the baby was hiding your six week scan didn't look like anything I seen on my ultrasound.
I'm 4to5 weeks pregnant an I was bleeding today just less than a hour an I went to the er an they did a ultrasound an they didn't see the baby or the sack.....so they said maybe I had a threthen miscarriage but they or not for sure or maybe the sack isint big enough yet for the baby so the just told me to follow up with my Ob Doctor.... So I tryna see if someone would possible no if I have lost my baby or not please somebody help MW I'm very worried?
