Today is officially my first day of hope. I'm now on clomid treatment and will take it from Oct. 4-8. I was told that my fertile days are Oct. 13-15 and so I was told to go back to my doctor on Oct. 14 to undergo ultrasound to check if my eggs have fertilized and to have an injection, that is to help release the egg. I've read a lot about the clomid treatment but I've never heard about the injection part. Is this really the usual process? Any thoughts on this? Please share.

So I had my first ultrasound 2 weeks ago. And thought I was 12 weeks preggo but found out I was only 6 weeks ..didn't really get a good pic of the baby. Nd my next appointment would be on the January 20th.. do u guys think the doctor will do another ultrasound ...? I really wanna see a good picture .

When is it best to get the 1st ultrasound? I was pregnant b4 and got an ultrasound when I was 5 weeks again at 6 when there was a heartbeat and then at 8 weeks when I started cramping and spotting which I found out was the result of a miscarriage which occurred somewhere between 6-7 weeks. Now I'm pregnant again and at 6 weeks. I don't want to go too early and get my hopes up so I want to wait till the 2nd trimester...

I am 39 years old and I am in the process of having my third consecutive miscarriage. At six weeks vaginal us, empty gestational sac. And again today (six weeks six days) still empty sac. I'll go back next week to confirm blighted ovum and probably do a d&c. We started seeing a specialist after my second miscarriage and he ran ALL of the blood work. The whole shabang, and found nothing that would indicate any problems.

My understanding is, if it is one of those random abnormalities, then no amount of medicine or treatment will stop the miscarriage. Perhaps that was the case with you. Not that it makes you feel any better. But maybe knowing that it was inevitable will help you move on and continue with your plans. Will they test the tissue to find out if it was an abnormality??

Went for an ultrasound today to check everything was fine! It confirm I am 6weeks and 3days! We got to see and hear the heartbeat! Everything is fine and I can be excited finally! I had a miscarriage in December so that is really a relief to see baby.

At 5 weeks its way to early to see anything in an ultrasound. If you want to see baby ask for a vaginal ultrasound. I was 7 weeks for my first and they had to do a vaginal ultrasound to see and measure everything. So i wouldn't worry if your HCG levels are moving up.

If BY is left untreated it can cause miscarriage or birth problems.

I am bleeding a lot and cramping a lot so I went to the er in my town (small) they did a pregnancy test and it was still positive with the pregnancy hormone so what is happening to me? My er doesn't have an ultrasound machine. if I go to the next city over will they do an ultrasound?

I had my ultrasound today and after just having a miscarriage, my 6wk 3day old baby is visable with a healthy heartbeat :) I'm happy but unfortunately my bf isn't and says were not ready for this and I don't have any support from him. Like the other women said 1) have a ultrasound to make sure that everything was fully gone from your body. 2) Have your levels checked to make sure they are back to 0. 3) Most of the time you are fine once you stop bleeding however, hcg will still be present in your body. From start to finish from my last miscarriage (8/17) miscarriage it was 4 weeks. Everyone is different. I'm sorry for your loss.

I am 10 wks today and was told 4 days ago at an ultrasound I got because I was spotting that my baby wasn't alive. Is there still hope or none at all?
