I just saw a different post and i just thought about something i just recentley went on the depo shot for birth control its probably the same and the pills but maybe not? maybe thats whats causing this anxiety? i started on it a week or two before my first panic attack? does anybody else possibly think this?

What type of birth control do you ladies plan to take after giving birth & why ? . I'm just trying to decide which one to take.

I had a miscarriage on July 4, 2014. I started taking birth control pills on August 3, 2014. I never got my period or had any spotting after my miscarriage even after I started the bc pills. A month and two weeks later I started getting all day nausea and was very tired all the time so I took two pregnancy test and they both came back positive. How do I know how many weeks pregnant I am if I never got a period after my miscarriage in July?

I've never heard anything about birth control raising your cancer risk. I don't see why it would. You're giving yourself a form of estrogen and/or progesterone, not some sort of carcinogenic thing. If you're on something that's been around for 10+ years, you have even less reason to fear it causing cancer because it would have been pulled from the market if it was linked to cancer.

I had recently started taking birth control but about after 2 weeks I took 5 pregnancy tests and they were all POSITIVE. So I stopped taking them and only a few days later I got my period?! It's so heavy it hurts so bad. I'm wondering if maybe it's just my body trying to adjust from not taking the pills?? I don't know, I'm not a doctor. I hadn't had my period for 3 months before I started taking birth control but they said I wasn't pregnant. I'm so confusd.

t have any type of birth control with hormones so an IUD seems to be my only choice! I have heard awesome things but I have a friend who said hers moved and damaged her uterus and was very painful.

I have gotten pregnant 3 times while on birth control. Diet baby I was on seasonal it's one that you only have a period every 3 months. Took it religiously and still got pregnant. Had healthy term baby. Second pregnancy I was using nuva ring. Confirmed it was in place properly and I used it correctly as well and got pregnant. Healthy premie baby. And the third pregnancy I was on loestrin. Took it religiously and got pregnant.

I'm due in a few weeks. I don't know what to do about my birth control I had Mirena before and had a miscarriage. My doctor still wants me to try mirena but I also had a hard time losing weight and I felt like it kept me from keeping the weight off. The only thing I liked was not getting my period!! m on Yaz and i went to Hawaii june 2nd through june 10th and i was supposed to be on my period during that week but i double up on my birth control so i wouldnt have a period during vacation but before that i was sexually active with out protection and i had not taken my birth control at the same time those days. but i guess i was just wondering could you get pregnant during that time? are you fertile if you do that?

I was on antibiotics for 20 days while on the pill but i was having unprotected sex and got my period that month a week later i decided to take two test they both were negative but i thought maybe it was too early so i continued taking the pills.

Do you mean getting pregnant while on birth control? Because once you are pregnant you should not keep taking birth control. I got pregnant with my first while on birth control. It ended in a miscarriage, but wasn't due to the birth control. My mother was actually on birth control when she got pregnant with me and she had a healthy pregnancy and here I am 28 years later.

I was a long term birth control, but one I can could on!! There is so many things that can go wrong with this IUD that it really scares me. Does anyone else have the Mirena? I don't care about bleeding or anything (still haven't had a period since I breastfeed)...but I was wondering if the cramping is SO severe as woman say it is. I got onto birth control about 2 months ago and i haven't missed a day of it. i got onto it because my periods were heavy, EXTREMELYYYY painful, and very irregular, so i figured birth control would help with that. The first month helped out a lot; i lasted 7 days (regular), it was lighter and i barely felt any cramps but this month its like something completely different.

Am I the only one dreading going back to dealing with birth control post - pregnancy? It feels like it's been so long since we had to worry about it!

I also lost an ovary and keep getting cysts on the other one. On the one hand birth control pills do suppress the forming of new cysts but on the other hand if you want to get pregnant you need to stop taking the birth control pills. Whatever you do , I would recommend to go to a good gynaecologist with experience in fertility. There are still a lot of possibilities to get your own genetic child having one ovary left.

I am currently on Depo Vera (the shot) i have been on it for a while but the symptoms have got to the point in which i do not like, i have gained almost 50 lbs in the last year to two yrs and i still exercise and eat the same as i did b4 the shot, also my sex drive has slowed way down. So i am looking to switch birth controls, i do not want the pill in fear of not remembering on a daily basis. I was looking online about the patch but i have also heard of skin problems from it.

what could this be caused from? Could it be the birth control or could she have had a miscarriage? Any advice would be very helpful.
