Having a weird situation I have signs of miscarriage and hcg levels are lowering bleeding and abdominal pain but yet an ultrasound showed that the baby had grown from the week prior yet no heartbeat approx 6 weeks gestation has anyone had similar circumstance and what happened?

The doctor said my levels are below normal. My hcg levels came out at 1828... does anyone else have that low of a number? I don't have any symptoms of a miscarriage.

I have been pregnant five times and I do not understand how all you the women on this site know what there HCG levels are? The only knew mine was when I was having a MC so how do all of you know what yours are?????

In the early stages of pregnancy it's hard to see anything. If the HCG levels are going up then it's a good sign. Have they checked that the baby is in the right place? E.g the Uterus and not somewhere else?

I do know it takes awhile for hcg levels to decrease so it could be your hcg levels decreasing. At 5 weeks my hcg levels were 2 and I took a pregnancy test 4 weeks after my miscarriage and that was negative. It could be the hcg levels decreasing. I think in these situations it is hard to know what is happening until you get proof. My cousin's partner miscarried and had bleeding, they couldn't find a heartbeat or anything and then 3 months later she was 5 months pregnant.

Meanwhile my dr tested my hcg levels on 28/06/12 which was 21775 U/L (was alryt) but then my hcg levels went down to 20934 U/L on the second test which was done on 02/07/12. So, I don't know whats happening now. I am having another test for HCG and ultrasound on the 9th july. I haven't got any bleeding or pain or cramps. I have still got symptoms of pregnancy like my breast is sore bt no nausea since the start of the pregnancy. Please Help....

m sorry to say that your levels are supposed to double. It looks as if your in the process of a miscarriage just based on your levels. Have you went to the doctor? I really am sorry!

t be able to see anything on a sono until about 6 weeks, they can measure you hCG levels. Good luck.

I had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago hcg levels went from 900 to 230 and today i went and took another blood test. I am a college student with no money to pay for the doctors bill. what happens if i dont go back to get blood tests monitored and just let it drop on its own? i should just get my period when they go back to zero and ill be ok right?

I am now pregnant and doc is concerned with low hcg/progesterone levels. I have cycles that last 33-35 days, always an extra week in bewtween. Tomorrow I will know results of the second HCG and progesterone test. I am so worried. I have symptoms, but the doctor has a presription for prometrium on hold for me awaiting these results. Hi, With both my miscarriages my hcg went down very slowly (took over 6 weeks) but iv also had 2 ectopics first hcg rised slowly then dipped then went back up and was told this is normal in ectopics because its still in your body therfore your body still thinks its preg with a miscarriage it has already detached therefore your hcg has no reason to go up furthur. In a viable pregnancy the levels should double within 48-72 hours. I'm not sure if in very early pregnancy the rise is slow and then begins to double. Good question! Lots of sticky dust!!!

my hcg levels went fr 1300 to 1100 but now its been a week later and i took a home pregnancy test and its showing positive, the doc said a week ago i would start bleeding, but i havent, and i havent had any cramping so they wanna check my levels again ob said that they are almost 100% sure im gonna miscarriage but how cause its been a week an no bleeding an home kit pregnancy say positive i dont know can some one please help me.

I asked for my hormones to be checked because I was so afraid of miscarriage again .. my levels at 4 weeks 5 days on Friday were 4000 and on Sunday they are 11000 ... Just want some feedback. My HCG levels were in the 500's and I was told that I was anywhere from 4 - 5 weeks pregnant. I followed doctors orders and went back in 48 hours for another blood work. My results came back yesterday and my levels are now in the 200's. I was told on the phone, by the nurse, that my body had miscarried. I had my last blood drawn on Friday and here we are on Tuesday and still no symptoms of a miscarriage. Can my HCG levels rise?

On April 6th, I had some bleeding, went to the ER b/c I am RH negative for the Rhogam shot, and they said my HCG level was 836. I went back and had my levels tested yesterday (April 9th), and they only went up to 907. Has anyone else had this same experience, and still maintained the pregnancy? Honestly I dont know a lot about hcg levels. But light cramping with no bleeding is normal in early pregnancy. But what I have seen the ladies say for hcg levels yours dont seem low for as early as you are.... But since you just had a miscarriage in October your doc may just want to keep a closer eye on you. Good luck and try not to worry to much stress is not our friend!

you may be so early that the levels are low. Hopefully they will take another test and the levels will should be doubled! how far along are you by the way ?
