But I'm worried I have, I didn't even know I was pregnant. I've been on this new BC pill for 4 months that has wreaked havoc with my cycle. Sometimes I get my period, sometimes I don't. Well I did this time, but it was over a week early, and it was the most painful cycle I've ever had. I have been bleeding for 7 days now, rather steadily. Normally it would've been over 3 days ago, and a whole lot lighter flow.
They had said that if the severe pain became constant, didn't get better after a few days, or if I started having nausea or <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span>, I should come back to the ER. I hope feel better soon. It is normal that the bleeding will continue for a week or sometimes longer. If your pain is not getting better soon or any symptoms are getting worse you should call the doc or go get checked again. Better to be safe than sorry that it isn't something more serious. Wishing you peace.
With my miscarriage experience, I had no signs or symptoms that anything had gone wrong. They called it a missed <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span> also known as a silent miscarriage. I went in for my 12 week scan and the baby had no heartbeat. They said the baby had passed just shy of 10 weeks.
Most miscarriages are complete, and if you did not have any infection symptoms (<span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span>, discharge, excessive bleeding) after your pregnancy loss, it should not affect your attempts at becoming pregnant at all. The return of your normal cycles, and hence your chances of pregnancy, depend a lot on how far along you were when the miscarriage took place.
Serena112-- also if you experience <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span> and flu like symptoms to go back to the hospital as it could be a sign of infection from left behind fetal tissue. mummycrush -- I am sorry for your loss.
I bled for 4 days with small clots and then spotted for 2 days after that. My periods are usually a lot heavier and longer. I still have pregnancy symptoms, sore breasts, nausea, and very emotional. My question is, could I still be pregnant after bleeding with small clots? Should I be examined after a chemical pregnancy?
Most likely cramping and heavy bleeding. But these symptoms don't always mean miscarriage. At 8 weeks I had slight cramps and heavy bleeding. I went to the ER and heartbeat was strong....how many weeks are you?
i had brownish discharge in morning so i thought i have started <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span> since 11:00am i am getting dizzy and getting weird feeling and mostly i feel like vomiting as soon as i get my head up. i have thrown twice or three times since that time and i don't whether its normal during miscarriage. i don't know what to do at this stage. i am feeling really sick all i want to do is lay in bed and not even move my head once. when i vomit i feel good for a while but again i start doing that.
yesterday was my 1st appt at 10 wks from my last period but the u/s showed only 6 wk development & no heartbeat. the midwife immediately gave me my options for following through with a miscarriage but i'm feeling uneasy about this. i only had blood work done once over a month ago & will be traveling out of the state soon. my hcg is pos, my pregnancy symptoms have only been fatigue & there is no bleeding or cramping. shouldn't my body be telling me something?
Over the weekend I felt alittle off, and by Sunday morning had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span> of 101, the chills, and a stomach ache. It passed, we all thought it was just a bug. As a result of the biopsy I had a brownish discharge, which he said was normal, but on Monday night I woke to go to the bathroom and it was very heavy. I had passed a clot and a tiny piece of tissue. I was alarmed, and called the doctor in the morning. He asked me to come in, and did an ultrasound vaginally.
My fever broke after two weeks ago & I was dx'd with missed miscarriage last week. Had D&C on 1/8. I'm waiting for placental immunopathology report. My drs suspected fever, bleeding/SCH & mmc all due to abnormally elevated NK cells and activities. So sad that this has happened. I've seen many women running fever, having cold-/flu- like symptoms for weeks during early pregnancy, only to find they lost their babies a couple week after.
She said to wait that I would eventually miscarry in the next couple of days. I'm just so nervous about having a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span>. This is my first baby and so scared. I really don't know what to look for. How long with the miscarry take, how long do I have to stay in bed, how long will I bleed, how should I feel? I'm just so scared can anyone help me!
On 11/20/11 I had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span>. Exactly 7 days before that I was spotting a little so my husband took me to the ER. They reassured me everything was fine that my baby was in my womb and did an vaginal ultrasound. We even seen our sweet baby's heartbeat. I went to my doctor 11/18 and he also reassured me everything was fine even though I was bleeding a little and he wanted to see me 3 weeks later for the first ultrasound where the baby would actually look like a baby...
I took a full course of antibiotics, but I have flu like symptoms all the time. No <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span>, no bad discharge or anything that signals infection. Just flu-like symptoms. Has any one experienced this?
Hi, I turned 7 weeks pregnant today but from the past 1 week when I wake up in the mornings I develop a mild to slightly high <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span> which usually subsides by afternoon or evening on its own. I also develop headaches usually in the evenings which again subside on their own. I wanted to know if this is normal. My GP adviced me to take some paracetamol but did not investigate further. I do not have any other preganancy symptoms apart from vomiting sensation in the mornings.
The miscarriage occurred almost two weeks ago and since about a week ago she's been sick. She's had symptoms such as high <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span>, bad stomach pains, throwing up, and she feels tired but has trouble falling asleep. A doctor at the hospital she went to said it was after-effects of the miscarriage but it'd be nice to have more than one opinion on this. Are these truly common after-effects of miscarriage? Could she have just coincidentally contracted some illness after having the miscarriage?
"then that could cause infection" when i get infections, of any kinds, my blood sugar is affected, and my blood sugar has been fine... so i dont think its that "and I would think would cause pain and probably other symptoms as well. (fever, chills, ect.)" i dont have any chills or fever, actually, my hot flashes that i had during pregnancy is gone. ty too btw... i didnt think it should still hurt.
So I'm going on 3 weeks after my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span> and am ovulating. It is pretty painful (cyst on right ovary) and I spotted from it. Also A LOT more discharge than normal and very sore breasts. Anyone else experience this???
You won't know for sure if you have passed the placenta until a little time has gone by. First, keep the following symptoms taped on the wall and go to the doctor or the ER if you have them: - Excessive bleeding (more than a maxipad an hour) - fever and/or chills - Faintness If those things are not happening, simply watch your bleeding for clues. If you have passed everything there is to pass, the bleeding will die down. If you have retained some placenta, it probably won't die down.
I had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span> last Thurs, today Sat over a week later my bleeding has stopped (yesterday) but I still have mild cramping. I thought once the bleeding stopped so would the cramping and after reading about infections that can occur I am kind of freaking out.... no other symptoms like discharge or fever though. If anyone has any input i would appreciate it, I won't see the Dr until early next week.
On the 16th and today I had been experiencing horrible period-like pain and have been so nauseous, a ton of pain on my left side, and noticed that my left ovary is a bit swollen, I have been running a low grade <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>fever</span>. My husband's mom is a nurse so she said to keep an eye on my temperature in case of ectopic pregnancy. Although I have been looking online at my symptoms, the top two that I have narrowed down to is the ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage.
Hey everyone I had a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span> almost three weeks ago and am still experiencing some cramping. The m/c was due to a blighted ovum, which was diagnosed when I would have been about 8 weeks pregnant. I waited three weeks until I finally passed everything, and ever since then I have noticed cramping on and off. The pain is not severe, it feels a lot like menstrual cramps, and I don't have any other signs of infection such as fever or unusual discharge. Has anyone else had this experience?
Are these just symptoms leading to the first period after a <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span>, or could I already be pregnant again? Please post whatever you know, it would be very helpful!

I posted on your other thread but as a summary. I felt quite similar to you last week and the week before.. light headed, tired, sore breasts.. I was taking pregnancy tests - one last week and one the week before, both negative i had alot of follow up after mine so i know that it took about 2 weeks for my hcg levels to drop... it took me 6 weeks from my d&c (the "miscarriage") to get my period... but only 4 weeks from the time my hcg levels drop..

I had a missed <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>miscarriage</span> at 20 weeks. I had no symptoms, just went in for my 20 week appoit. and they found no heartbeat, but I had them send me to a specialist, a doctor who specializes in these sorts of issues and they confirmed that the baby had lost the heartbeat. Make sure you have them check one more time, but that sounds like what happened. i had a d&c done, I do not know if you had considered that or not. I hope the best for you.
