Pregnancy can occur after tubal ligation if the procedure fails. The failure rates, the reason for failure and the timing of a failure all depend on the type of sterilization procedure and the skill of the surgeon performing the procedure. If you suspect pregnancy I would advise you an early ultrasound to determine the location of the pregnancy since the chances of ectopic pregnancy are high after tubal ligation.

Have a tubal re-anastomosis (which is a major surgery and usually not covered by insurance) or in vitro fertilization--you would probably be an excellent candidate--but again, cost is often an issue.
A reproductive endocrinologist could help you decide which is the best route for you to take.

Tubal reconstruction is an option, as is in-vitro fertilization, and also adoption. The reason I mention the latter is that tubal reconstruction and in-vitro cannot guarantee you a girl.
