i am in the process of having a miscarriage. i am 7 w + 4 days. i went for an ultrasound and the sac was empty. i knew within a minute or so that nothing was there. part of me is sooooooooooooooo angry and a part of me is sad. i wish there was a definite casue; that way i could be mad at something and take steps to prevent from happening again. my mind is just in a fog as terms such as "chemical pregnancy", "blighted ovum," etc. float around. anyone have this happen?
I found out at 8 weeks that I had a blighted ovum and didnt start the miscarriage process for about 4 weeks after finding out. The whole process of the miscarriage took about 2 weeks. Miscarriage is a very hard thing to go through, I had the option to do the D &C but opted out of it my mind kept thinking that maybe something could change. Through out the whole process I kept wondering if I should just go ahead and do the D & C but my body finally finished it on it's own.
r yesterday and they check me because I was bleeding and and they went in and said I was forming blood clots and so they just mainly told me I was in the process of having a miscarriage and so I got home from the e.
I was impregnated through sexual intercourse, and without the use of fertility treatments, in January 2011. I then had a miscarriage in February 2011. Miscarriage was the result of a lack of prodestron & having a smooth lining of the uterus walls. Because of this the embryo was unable to implant itself. Since then I am no longer involved with my boyfriend. I began fertility treatments and had taken 150mgs of clomid for five days.

Honestly though if you think you are having a miscarriage it is very important to see your ob asap. If the pain is severe or you are bleeding through more than 1 pad an hour you should go to the ER. If you passed any tissue at home bring it with you, the doc may want to run a few test.
Well I do have a friend who went to the dr and they said bb had no heartbeat and wanted to schedule the process of miscarriage. She went to a diff hospital and had another sono and baby was there. No harm in a 2nd opinion.
I found out November 2nd that I was pregnant. This would have been my first pregnancy. I went to the ER last Thursday because I had some vaginal bleeding. Thankfully, the baby was okay. They gave me an ultrasound and we got to see the baby's heart beat and it was so amazing. Yesterday I just had this bad feeling and couldn't get the energy to do anything and was so so sad. I went to the ER at 10:35 in the morning and got one more ultrasound to see if the baby was okay.

With my very first pregnancy, I miscarried at 12wks, but didn't start bleeding until 14 weeks, I thought everything was fine until I started bleeding but I went to the hospital and they gave me meds to take to start the process, which later, my doctor said he didn't want me taking. I still ended up having a d&c after passing what I thought was everything.
I know the feeling... my husband and I had miscarriaged in February the week after my birthday... that was our very first.. then in May I got pregnant again :) Now with a healthy baby boy... it wasn't easy to recover I was only about 6-8 weeks along when I miscarriaged... You might get lucky and get pregnant again in just a few months... that's what happened with me... my husband and I were terrified that I would miscarriage again. But lucky for us we didn't...
So I went to the dr this morning and he saw a fetal pole measuring 5.5 weeks when I should be 7.5 weeks and the baby should be starting to develop. He gave me some medication to help the process along but I'm waiting until the weekend to use it and really hoping I naturally start miscarrying before then. At this point I just want it to all be over so I can move on. I'm kind of scared about what to expect next. Has anyone ever been in this position? I've never miscarried.
(keep in mind i never had a miscarriage) a few weeks later i began to bleed darker but not heavy. went to the er, took m blood work ultra sound and everything. results came back i could be miscarring how ever my hcg levels were still at 16,00. they found no heart beat or baby in sac. i have my mind set that i could have surely lost the baby or am in the process of doing so.
They are right, enjoy the process. The text book answer for a miscarriage is 20% of all pregnancies, really it's about 35% when we consider known and unknown pregnancies. The majority of these being in the first trimester. The rate drops significantly with a heart beat and then achieving 10 weeks gestation. All kinds of numbers and miscarriage rates are running around out there after a heart beat is seen, I have seen from 5 to 10% quoted.
ll be able to tell for sure if the pregnancy is viable or not and he can either give me medication to move the miscarriage process along or we can begin prenatal treatment. Has anyone else had this sort of experience? Today I had severe cramps, the kind that had me doubled over and barely able to breathe and I thought it could be the start of a miscarriage but then it passed and I haven't had any spotting or bleeding since then.
hi annie thanks for sharing. i had blood test done today and my hcg has dropped from 2190 to 1400.and early this morning i have very bad cramp near lower abdomen for about 5—10mins. talked to nurse. she said i should expect period anytime otherwise i will have to go back and speak to dr about it. and she did mention too that the cramping this morning is probably a good sign. i will have to continue blood test everyweek to make sure hcg level is coming down to zero.

Does anybody have any advice on getting through a miscarriage? This has been a lot harder than I thought it would be. :( When my Doc told me I was fine but as soon as she hung up the phone I was devastated. I think about it all the time! Everywhere I go there is a baby or someone is pregnant and it's killing me. I feel like breaking down and crying right then. Just need some advice, PLEASE!
Day after miscarriage. I've noticed my breasts have gotten a bit bigger but they also feel kinda hard... Sorry if that's TMI! But i have no idea what's going on with my body i don't know what's normal should i see an OBGYN?
how does it take to have a miscarriage because I dont understand. They gave me some pills (misopostol) after I left school Wednesday and nothing happen. yday I got some more pills and I start cramping not bad and pass 3 grape size clots. That was it. I stop bleeding completely and then later.

how will i know when the miscarriage is complete. I think I know, but will I know? how will i know its the baby and not just a blood clot? i don't want it to go in the trash or in the toilet. this is so hard, i can't ask the doctor or even share with my husband. I just want to know that its the baby so i can care for it in the proper way.
If the sack is still there you havent passed the tissue but could be in the process of miscarrying now... The bleeding could come back and evenually turn heavier... You test can continue to show positive for a bit after you pass the tissue as well.. After mine, I was still testing positive two weeks later but my HCg was alot higher at the time so it took a while to drop.
Given the fact that your numbers have dropped I would say you are probably going to miscarry..
i had a miscarriage yestoday..had ulturson the dr said that the baby was gone but had some piceses left, if i dont have heavy bleeding she wouldn't need to do abortion but she didn't tell me how long it would take for the pieces to come ou.me and my husband wants to try another asap could someone help me ?? please how long do i need to wait for a new one??
