I have felt no pain, and have been spotting only when I whipe, but she told me I would have heavy bleeding like a hevier menstrual period. Is it possible it was just a blood clot and not a miscarriage?

Sometimes you can get a positive but its only when your hcg level is high enough and if you have an early ovulation I tests a week after a miscarriage which would have been a week after my period if I wasn't pregnant previously. So my advice to you would be to take a test now if its a negative take another one two days later by then you should have built up enough hcg level to get as much as a faint positive.

How far past your period were you? If you were in the early weeks of pregnancy and had a miscarriage, your periods would be just heavier than normal and you wouldn't have an embryo or anything noticable to pass.

I have a question. I am 26 years old and I have a beautiful 18 month daughter -- my pregnancy with her was perfect, no problems. In Aug 08 I m/c at 5 weeks. We waited one period and tried again and m/c in Oct 08 at just 4 weeks. We waited another month and tried again -- I was really tired the last week or so and my breasts got much fuller but then I got my period 2 days earlier than normal. It was probably just your period. A lot of women do miscarry and don't know it because it happens so early. If you are trying to stop your cycl and dont want to get pregnant you should try an IUD. 2 of my girlfriends are on them and after a few months both had little to no periods.

It could be anything from a miscarriage to just an off-cycle. The only way to know if it was a MC is to have confirmed you were pregnant.

Okay so I'm right around ten weeks pregnant and this morning when I woke up I found blood in my underwear. Idk if it's just my period or a miscarriage. When I when to my doc last she said it was a "threatened misscarraige" so I should come back in two weeks but it's been three. I'm having little to no abdominal cramps but the blood is bright red. c done five weeks ago and for last 5 days have had tiny blood. Hardly nothing. Its only once a day on morning. I had another miscarriage 6 months earlier but got period normally after about 36 days. I went to the hospital had a scan and test to make sure my hormone levels were normal and everything was gone, I had a period roughly 4/5 weeks after the miscarriage which was normal 5 day flow. It said that someone bleed for the first 3 months like a normal period and she was pregnant with twins. t get my period until Dec 10th, (started) and ended Dec 16th. For me that was a long period, Usually it lasts around 3 days or 4 max. My few questions are, I'm now due for my period to start today (Jan. 7th) and it's not here yet.. Usually I also don't get cramping, But start spotting a few days before thats how I know that it is comming. So far no spotting, or anything. if you take a pregnancy test, it would test positive as hcg is still in your blood after a loss.

I think you should be fine, I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks got pregnant right after even before my period was due and now I'm 27 weeks pregnant

If you were having a miscarriage you would have gotten a positive test recently. Sounds like you're about to have a bad period because you missed 2 of them already. Stress, exercise, drug/alcohol abuse, certain medications, obesity or being underweight--- they can all affect your cycles. I do not think you're having a miscarriage. What you saw was old tissue from your uterus. Definitely make an appointment with an OBGYN once your bleeding has stopped.

laura, so am i! lol. am keeping it to a minimum. looks like he's not gonna see liam tonight, he was supposed to have him overnight but i think he's gonna let him down. am pretty mad because liam thinks he's going and i could do with the rest. I reckon he won't have him and then expect me to have our 8 year old as well as liam tomorrow night. he likes to pile on all the stress he can. such an a@?!

my menstrual wasnt due until Yesterday Oct 23 , my Sons father and i tried all month to concieve , i started Spotting from Oct 21-23 sort of like an period , im confused , was that an Period or Implantation ? has anyone ever experienced this ? or is it impossible for me to concieve after having an miscarriage in August ?

After my miscarriage I went in every Monday to have mine tested until I reached 0 so then I would know where I was at. I just went int again yesterday but shockingly I got a positive after my miscarriage but I never got my period in between so I was wondering what was going on. Sure enough I am pregnant again & it literally happened 2 weeks after the miscarriage. Have faith, it will happen for you too. Good luck & keep me posted.

I had a d&c done over 5wks ago & still haven't started my period back? I had unprotected sex with my husband a wk ago is there a chance I could be pregnant & that's the reason my period hasn't started? I had a naturally miscarriage in feb & started my period back 5wks after that miscarriage started.

Alot of doctors recommend that you wait until after your next menstrual cycle just because your body has a lot of healing to do and sometimes trying to soon can actually trigger another miscarriage just because the body isnt fully healed.. But then again i know some people that got pregnant 2 weeks after the mc and had beautiful healthy babies!

m devastated, I grieving the lost of my child and I will never forget this but its to hard to be waiting when I will have a cramp or a back pain or heavy bleeding as a sing that this will end soon.

I looked up my symptoms on the computer and found out there is a thing called decidual bleeding. I did not have sever cramping or pain like a miscarriage and this lasted a few days. About 3 days. But the first and second day it was heavy then the third day it was like nothing was there and there was little pieces of tissue the first and second day. I have never had tissue or clots in my period before that I have noticed. But this was weird.
