Common Questions and Answers about Miscarriage no medical attention

miscarriage

Avatar f tn If you are bleeding and filling up a sanitary pad then you need medical attention. If there are no other symptoms, like stabbing pains then you should be just fine. Best of wishes!
Avatar f tn Should I seek medical attention immediately or should I wait and see? I have been told that I have a cyst on my right ovary and now I am having a dull sort of pain continuously on my right lower side of the abdomin and sweeling of the stomach which is causing the belly button to be sticking out when it normally is not and lower back pain around the kidney area, should I be concerned?
Avatar f tn I would go to the Doctor just to make sure cause before 12 weeks your still at risk of a miscarriage and that happend to my Aunt for a whole month thinking it was normal just old blood and little did u know that she had a miscarriage the drs told her that the baby never formed properly so seek medical attention its better to be safe than sorry...
Avatar f tn I have experienced light brown discharge for two days now. I was told to seek medical attention. I'm having mild cramping associated with it. Currently I'm 7weeks. Am at the duct it's now awaiting to get in the room along with my blood work.
Avatar f tn You NEED medical attention. Pregnancy is nothing to brush aside, and neither is miscarriage. If there is any form of tissue retention it can lead to infection, infertility and possible death. If you were continuously sexually active with no protection (which I hope you weren't) then yes you could be. We however can't tell you what's going on, you need to see a doctor.
Avatar f tn I agree with the others. This could be a new pregnancy or it could still be remaining hormones from the last pregnancy. As the others said, everyone is a bit different. Unfortunately the only way to know for certain is the bloodwork Stacy mentioned. If your HCG levels are increasing, then it's a new pregnancy. If they are decreasing, then it's still the last pregnancy - it can take time for some.

Avatar f tn Red flags would be fever, and bleeding so heavy she is filling up more than a pad an hour (tell her not to use tampons), and please get her immediate medical attention. Good luck!
1372557 tn?1286215297 I am not scared about labor, i dont have sympathy for people that want to abort there babies. The ONE thing that i really fear is having a miscarriage. Knowing your pregnant, really excited, to find out... your baby no longer has a heartbeat. =( That must be the HARDEST thing you'll even have to find out. My hearts really go out to the ladies that have experienced this. I dont know what it feels like, but id tell you, im sure its not easy...
Avatar n tn My son is 8 and his teacher asked that I take him to a doctor for his short attention span. He doesn't get his work done and often daydreams instead of doing his work. He is behind his peers. He is also the youngest in his class. Prior teachers have mentioned his short attention span. He has no behavior problems. I have spent 3 entire days researching so I am fully prepared for his doctor appointment next week. I want to rule out any other causes for his attention.
481769 tn?1208459480 If you bleed through more than one pad an hour, you need to seek medical attention immediately as you are losing more blood than your body can handle. I am so sorry that you guys are going through this and if it is any consolation, I have been there and I know how you feel!
Avatar f tn When is it time to get medical attention when it comes to pain caused by endometriosis? I was diagnosed with the condition during a laparoscopy to treat ovarian cysts back on March 30th of this year. I have since experienced stabbing pain in my pelvic area (similar to the pain prior to surgery) that shoots down my leg and moves into my back. I don't have a post-op until June 1st. I am 21 years old.

Avatar m tn Once you get entrenched in the therapy it can become an automatic part of your life, no matter how poorly you may feel. Her medical team will alert her if she needs to use one of the helper drugs like procrit for low hemoglobin or neupogen (also comes as Neulasta) to increase the white count and show her how to take those shots and advise her on how often to use them. Not everyone gets the flu-like symptoms from the interferon shot, but I do believe that most people do (I didn't).
Avatar n tn Ok I don't know why I'm doing this... I don't want another baby now but maybe I'm reliving my last miscarriage which was hard or ... I just need to know... Anyways I had unprotected sex the last week of March, April 1st I recieved a Depo shot. My period started on 5/2 Saturday and Monday cramps hurt so bad I soaked in tub. After I got out tissue feel on the floor, it was 5-6 in long and 1-2 inches wide. Most was red but some was off whitish color...
Avatar f tn If you did have a miscarriage they should check to make sure you passed everything, if not and you are pregnant you may need medical attention.
Avatar f tn That is true. You won't ovulate if there is still something there. However, this may just be your normal period. It's not uncommon for the first period after a miscarriage to be heavier then normal. Mine always is. Clotting isn't unusual either. Just because 10 weeks is longer then normal doesn't mean it doesn't happen. If it is products of conception leftover, I had this happen with my last miscarriage in Dec. and a miscarriage 3 years ago.
Avatar f tn Oh my god you need to get medical attention right now. Bleeding of any kind could be a sign of miscarriage. Especially since you're not far along. Praying for you.
