Pretty much the same think happened to me. I was 11 wks 3 days when I found out my baby had no heartbeat as of 8+6. I was 12+5 when I finally passed the baby. My doctor was fine with me having the process at home. And I DiD not want a D&C.
I have to be honest it was the worst pain I've ever felt by far. Extremely sharp pains in my back literally every 2-3 minutes for 18 hours straight. It was non stop. I was able to get a little bit of sleep after doping up on Tylenol and Ibuprofen .
If there is a sac and no fetus that's a blighted ovum. That was what happened with my first miscarriage. I found out at 11 weeks and miscarried naturally after that. Since then I've had 3 miscarriages and have done all three of the options you mentioned. The d&c is over quickly and painless. I had no choice but to do it naturally the first time but o was given pain meds. I don't recommend the pill. When I did that it still didn't completely get everything out.
Everyone congratulated me and I was so happy! Yesterday, I went in for another ultrasound, they found no heartbeat. The whole experience was just awful. I won't go into why the nurses and the doctor made it so unpleasant. My doc told me that I can either have a D & C on Thursday or opt to wait it out. The thing is I still have all the symptoms of pregnancy. They haven't gone away. So, I'm really confused. Hurt. Sad.
There was a sac and embryo but no heartbeat. My midwife said it could be a miscarriage. Has anyone had a healthy baby after no heartbeat at 6 weeks?

Yes. They keep confirming pregnancy. But the doctor just came in & he's the first to tell me there's no heartbeat. I'm just so nervous & scared. They consider me a high risk pregnancy now.
Yeah I took my test in Sept 12 when my period was due. The baby is still in the sac they measured both but didn't tell me anything about it. They say I'm having a miscarriage even though I've shown no signs. I think its too soon and that I also need to switch doctors! I've prepared myself for the worst though,I've cried & gotten it over with-I've excepted that its in Gods hands and He knows what's best!
I am 10 weeks pregnant. I went in 3 days ago to have an ultrasound to see exactly how far along I was & to get the baby's measurement. Then I was 9 weeks and 5 days. The sonographer could not detect a heartbeat. I emptied my bladder & she then doubled check. Still there was no heartbeat. I did fear the worse & asked her what was wrong with my baby. She told me that she couldnt state anything & I can talk to my dr. I was in tears.
The first day of my last period was on February 6th 2011. I went in a week ago today and my Dr couldn't find the fetus. I went back in today and he found the fetus, but no heartbeat?? He said the fetus is measureing at 6 weeks 4 days... He told me wait to see if my body would miscarry and if not he said he would recommend a D&C... Should I get a second opinion??
Hello I'm 38 yrs old and I thought I was 7 weeks 5 days pregnant. I went to the potty when I wiped I notice brownish blood and a small blood clot so I went to the ER. They drew blood & did a vaginal ultrasound. Tech didn't say anything to me. Dr came in and said my measurements of my baby was about 6 weeks and that there was no heartbeat. I didn't understand.

last week at 8w1d i had vaginal ultrasound there was no heartbeat seen. i freaked out the next day i went to an ultrasound specialist and he used the doppler and confirmed that he heard the heartbeat i had hcg checked 50,000
today i went to my regular dr, fetus measured 9w1d right on schedule. still no heartbeat seen, he did not use the doppler.
I had the same experience with my first pregnancy. No heartbeat at 6 weeks and dr said it was fine that she would check back in two weeks. But the next day I started bleeding and in fact it was a miscarriage. Hope it goes better for u.
Went in today for my 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks. The baby is on track 7 weeks, but no heartbeat. The sound graph picked up nothing. I go back monday for a 2nd ultrasound so they can determine miscarriage. I can't stop crying. This is my 2nd pregnancy where there was no heartbeat.

The doctor did an ultrasound and found that there is no sac! No fetal heart!. He later concluded that I might have miscarried. Well I denied inside me as I didnot notice anythign like miscarriage and no cramping. I still feel nauseas and have slight heartaches. I saw my babys heartbeat at 5 weeks & 4 days. Everything was fine.Had my 3 ultrasound at 9 weeks & 2 days no heartbeat.. I had what's called a missed miscarriage. I would go to the hospital and make up something so you can get an ultrasound right away..Hope everything is fine...

t want to be the one to make you worry more but with my first pregnancy we saw the heartbeat at 6w2d went back at 9 weeks and baby was only measuring 6w4d and now had no heartbeat. I ended up having a missed miscarriage which is where the baby passed but your body for whatever reason doesn't actually miscarry. I continued to have pregnancy symptoms until my hcg level went back to 0.
