Hey all. Well I am now 29 weeks and am getting bigger by the day. Everything is going well though and am just about sorted for the big day.One question that i could do with some help with is this: I have been left about $600 by a relative who passed away a couple of months ago in order to buy a keepsake for the baby.
I was going to say some form of jewelry. Or some kind of precious moments or "statue" thing you can get at Green Earth. (Not sure if you have that store where you are) you can still go to their website for idea. Even a personalized pendant or charm would be sweet.
Idk if this will help or not, but after the baby is born you should get her some kind of picture keepsake or something. My mother in law always wears necklaces and we found a beautiful gold necklace that you can get pictures printed on to. When my daughter is born we are getting a picture of our two girls (her only grandbabies) and something cute written on the back of it.. there are tons of other ideas of stuff like that online if ur not interested in jewelry.
Good idea jewelry cuz my baby shower is November the 15th but I already have everything I need besides diapers and wipes so most likely a baby shower that's what you get
So my boyfriend text me while I was at work extremely pissed because he found a chip from a phone I had way before we started talking and the chip had pictures of maybe 1 or 2 exes and just friends. He says I was trying to have the chip as a keepsake which is a lie besides those pictures are old and I had no idea the chip was still around. Now he's upset with me.
I also think that getting something like cremation jewelry or a keepsake to hold a remembrance of your mom (ashes, a few strands of her hair, etc.) helps tremendously. I know that everything happens for a reason and that It would've been difficult carring for a baby "caused by abuse and assault," but you'll always wonder what they looked like for who they would've became. Prepare yourself for days coming up like your due date or next year the anniversary of your loss (those days are the hardest). If you named your baby get yourself a keepsake or a piece of jewelry with their name on it. You are not alone even though you may feel like it. Many of us mommy's have been through it. My heart is breaking for you darling.

I have my anatomy scan with my doctor on the 9th but sometimes they rush through it and it's not special or memorable so I booked a session a few days before so I have good keepsake pictures and even a keepsake bear with the baby's heartbeat. My anatomy scan will just be for me to confirm that the gender is correct.

Usually miscarriage is up until 13weeks unless you have some medical problems.
So ease your stress right there.
Some offices don't do a gender till 20 weeks because they'll get an accurate result and won't have to check again. For example if they check you now they'll do it again at 20-21weeks to make sure it was right the first time. And some don't like to do that.
Perhaps a gift to commemorate their baby's life. I have friends who have babies in the first trimester all the way up to 26 weeks. What they want most is an acknowledgement that their baby lived..that their child indeed left a mark on the world. So many people think that miscarriage or stillbirth isn't a big deal. Don't be afraid of talking about their child for fear of reminding them...trust me they think about it every day.

the 3d ultrasound places will do a gender determination for about $50 to $70 depending on package. it will all be black n white with a peek in the 3D its a great keepsake and a great experience!

LMAO Thank you Thank you nooooo diamonds and thats OK. I have never worn much jewelry .he gave me a diamond necklace for Christmas I never take it off .Besides tat and my ring I don't wear any .I like clothes LOL so he gave me a visa gift card.We were going to go to dinner ,but we ended up taking our puppy to walk the trails at the park .We are going to go out tommrow .We are such dorks......
