1735424 tn?1357433558 I sure do appreciate all the info. Great to hear from you, Hector. Wishing you the best, friend. Thanks again.
Avatar f tn Then look into options like adding something to a shoe, paracord bracelets, and some people have even done tattoos. I don't know about the last... I don't have any and not sure if it will be noticed. There are a lot of options now. I make my own bracelet and use the cheapest emblem of stainless steel. I do have to change it out as I mixed copper, bronze and silver and in summer it looks awful and turns my wrist green when I sweat. I have had the necklaces and bracelets.
1903798 tn?1333905288 s are going away are not likely. I found a website that has cute bracelets and it has abb. For most conditions we have. http://www.creativemedicalid.
Avatar n tn I will tell you that both my daughter and my mom have the bracelets. You can get them form medic alert. Org or if you go to 50/50.com. Also most pharmacies and jewelry stores can get them. It is good for your son to have on this way is god forbid anything happens to him paramedics and EMT will see the bracelet and know how to treat you son. I personally, strongly believe in the use of some sort of medical alert bracelet or necklace.
Avatar f tn Sales magazines like betterware you can get good exercise walking with pushchair to or sell diet and lifestyle pills..
624074 tn?1263873807 Just wondering. Is the Chiari awareness ribbon color a lavener or a royal purple color? I've seen them both. The one with the zipper on it that says Chiari is lavender, so I'm assuming that the "official" awareness ribbon for Chiari is lavender. Just wondering. I would like to start raising awareness in my area and make some bracelets, but don't know what color charms to buy. Also, sorry to flood the board with my questions.
Avatar n tn Or what if you make a big deal about a pretty bracelet she could wear. Do you wear jewelry? Maybe you could both get one and she would like to be like mommy or daddy and wear a matching bracelet. My kids like to do anything I am doing especially my daughter who is three. Also-go to www.jdrf.org, the juvenile diabetes research foundation website and see what other families have done in your situation.
627818 tn?1271777026 I did all my info online and they have a plethora of choices at Medic Alert anyway - necklaces, bracelets, stainless steel, gold, etc., etc. Anyone with health issues should seriously think about it. I update my meds online and can print off a sheet that lists all my meds as well as contact info, doctors, etc. Truly worthwhile!
691990 tn?1290115247 One of our married couple friends recently suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks. They found out their baby's gender, named their baby, and had a funeral. We are quite far away and we are unable to see them in person. Are there any "good" gift ideas for moms who have suffered a miscarriage.
773214 tn?1295135069 I bought my own candle....I guess to an extent you could feel that way..I think some of the items are overpriced. But there are other things you can do to memorialize your baby like planting a tree in their memory or bulbs for flowers, etc. Some people like to have a tangible object to help remember the one they lost, and if it's right for them then I don't think it's a bad thing. They have small pins or bracelets that aren't expensive.
Avatar f tn Maybe get them and dad and the baby some sort of matching manly jewelry. Like cool engraved bracelets and one of baby when he gets older, matching rings? Maybe matching dog tag necklaces.
7458937 tn?1391882099 m in the same boat as you. I tried looking into those survey jobs but, uggh such a waste. I tried selling jewelry in candles, no luck lol so... I'm still trying to find something & a talent lol but, I am still in nursing school.
Avatar n tn I'm sorry about your losses. I had two consecutive miscarriages last year and have just found out am pg again. I remember coming across a website which makes rememberance things after a m/c like miscarriage bracelets etc. I can't remember the webadd but if you google miscarriage bracelets I think it will come up. Once again, I'm sorry about your losses.
Avatar f tn Has anyone with just CFS ever worn the bracelets and have they worked? Does it help with the fatigue or oxygen?
374652 tn?1494811435 I have been struggling with nausea and am now trying the acupressure bracelets, they really seem to take the edge off.
764912 tn?1322711843 That is a really good issue to bring up because I know we have all felt that way before, you are so very right! Sometimes people say things that try to help us or encourage us or make us feel better, and in the end those things they say just end up making us feel like they don't understand or like they are blaming us or like they expect more from us then we can give. Or sometimes they just say hurtful or discouraging things by mistake because they're not thinking at all.
Avatar f tn If you get too dehydrated it can cause a miscarriage. Have you tried gatorade? Half gatorade and water? I was told to also try that to stay hydrated.
Avatar n tn t matter at the end because my little one ended up leaving me by miscarriage. I know that everything happens for a reason and that It would've been difficult carring for a baby "caused by abuse and assault," but you'll always wonder what they looked like for who they would've became. Seeing pregnant woman really pulls on my heartstrings too. I am happy for them but I wish I could be pregnant too. Is there anything that makes this better? What can I do to remember the loss?
Avatar m tn Hmmmm never thought to use magnet therapy..... let me know if it helps!
Avatar f tn At like Walgreens or Rite aid, or I would assume any drug store, they have anti-nausea bracelets you can wear. Just ask the pharmacy about them! They work! Or Vitamin B-6 100 mg 1 tab a day works. I'm on that now, it also helps promote a healthy heart! But make sure it's 100 mg tablet, and only one daily.
649848 tn?1534633700 Husband and I do buy for each other, not discussed much in advance though sometimes I give him guidelines if he is looking clueless. His gifts to me are often from a jewelry shop (if so, I have to at least let him know things like "pearl-dot earrings, not big chandeliers that I can't wear anywhere"). Mercifully the jewelry shops wrap things (if you could see how my husband wraps, you would be glad too).
Avatar f tn Some people swear by sea bands. They are motion sicknesses bracelets you can get them at grocery stores.
Avatar f tn I am not here to be the judge and jury and I understand that smoking is extremely addictive, but there are certain things we do for our kid that are very hard, and one of them is being pregnant, taking care of our bodies while pregnant and nursing (and I am not even talking about giving birth!). That is only the start of a difficult life of a parent. So, let me give you the facts that you probably already know, but they are important to repeat.
1471017 tn?1300570960 I am an EMT and we are not trained to look for a specific brand of medical jewelry. Though the textbooks do mention bracelets and wallet cards more than any other form. Any brand of jewelry will do as long as it has the star of life symbol on it. I would suggest having more than one form of ID on you at all times. A key chain, a bracelet, something on your rearview mirror. They also make some that fit on your shoelaces for runners and apps for your phones.
Avatar n tn Try eating lemons and buying these bracelets called "Sea Bands". I swear by this. I was in the same position as you and my morning sickness stopped immediately.
Avatar f tn I had a lot of swelling with my first two so I had to take mine off as well and wear them around my neck on a chain...
Avatar n tn Do you wear rings? Or something on the hand. Never heard of this from B12, but some silver jewelry can do this.
