1454858 tn?1306784378 Do pregnancy hormones continue to rise throught your pregnancy, or do they just get to a certain point and thats it??? Is that what people mean by numbers rising?? Yesterday I began dry-heaving a lot. On the verge of puking but nothing comes up. I have always had a quick gag reflux, but now it is reallt intense. every smell makes me gas a few times in a row. Sometimes, not even food smells... it can be grease from boat parts in my husbands shop.
Avatar f tn I had a miscarriage on 3/22/11 without an d&c and I have been bleeding off and on ever since. I have been feeling sick so therefore I took a hpt and it was poaitive. Is there any way that my hormonse are still messed up from the miscarriage for the hpt to still be positive?
Avatar n tn Have your numbers been dropping? Were they higher and have gone lower or they have never gotten high? If they are not where they should be for 12 weeks and you are sure about your dates, can they not give you an ultrasound? Low levels can mean many things and an ultrasound is your best bet.
4268628 tn?1375041176 I've also had diarrhea. This is my second pregnancy, I had a miscarriage 6 months ago. This time around I have noticed much stronger symptoms. Nausea is starting already for me too.
Avatar f tn You can definitely get pregnany rigt after a miscarriage. Did your Hcg levels go down to zeo. Do you know? People say you are most fertile after a miscarriage but your body is also out of control on hormones and you can have ghost systems for two months so wait a week, take an HPT and then wait a week and take another one...I am so sorry for you loss and I wish you well.
Avatar f tn My doctor said the hormones can stay in your systemfor a while after having a miscarriage and said it depends on the woman. When I got pregnant right after my miscarriage she made me get an ultrasound to make sure my positive home test was not just from hormones left over after my miscarriage.
Avatar f tn if there really a sign for e every miscarriage...?? i have my 12 week ultrasound next thursday and im just terrified there wont be a heartbeat but someone told me to take another pregnancy test and that should show me everything is ok is that true/?
Avatar f tn how long after miscarriage will hormones stay in stream and show positive on test
Avatar n tn Bazipperer is right on! Thats how it happens. Mine was after pregnancy.
Avatar f tn for my last miscarriage my levels were back under 10 within a week of having my miscarriage and I ovulated a week later, it just depends on your body, how far along into the pregnancy you were and how quickly you miscarried
Avatar f tn You'll need blood work done to see if your hormones are decreasing. You can still past a pregnancy test for awhile after a miscarriage while your hormones leave your body. I hope it's not your case though.
Avatar f tn I would call and see your doctor. Cause usually it takes 4 weeks to get a positive pregnancy test, and if you had a miscarriage 3.5 weeks ago, then it can still be the hormones from the last pregnancy. Idk I hope I'm wrong though.
Avatar n tn hey there, not necessarily, because the morning sickness is caused by changes in your hormones and the levels of glucose in your body during pregnancy, these things dont go away straight away, so if you were miscarrying your morning sickness wouldn't disappear straight away.
Avatar f tn I know that is hard. So, our hormones really shift with pregnancy and then shift back after a miscarriage. That means we will have changes because of these hormonal shifts. I'd guess that you are probably having the hormones still circulating a bit causing some of this. Your doctor can always re evaluate you but it sounds like the remnants of hormones from the pregnancy leaving your system. I'm again, so very sorry! Being irregular is pretty common after a miscarriage.
Avatar f tn Do it first thing in the morning when you get up so your hormones are strongest and your urine is concentrated.
Avatar f tn How long do you have to wait to try and get pregnant again after a miscarriage?
Avatar f tn when you have a miscarriage is it common to still have all the symptoms and if so how long do you have them
Avatar f tn From what I gather, your hormones peak somewhere between 8 and 10 weeks, then go down some and level off. When your hormones level off, many of your symptoms will subside (i.e. morning sickness, sore bbs, etc.). So, if you peaked at 8 weeks, it makes sense that by 10 your system is balancing out. If you're not bleeding or in pain, I would just relax and not worry about it. You've heard a heartbeat. You've made it this far.
Avatar n tn Back in July I got pregnant 6 weeks later I had a miscarriage my hormones were normal but my progesterone was low. 6 weeks later i was pregnant again. my hormones were very low i knew the day i consumed so i knew i was 6 weeks pregnant but my hormones showed maybe 4 weeks. I remember asking the dr if it was possible for my hormones to double in a few days and she said it was very possible. But later that day they told me that mine dropped and at the end of the week I had another miscarriage.
Avatar n tn to be pregnant in May (miscarriage) to become pregnant again in June (ectopic-that took 6 weeks to dissolve-it didn't end until the very end of August). I had to have one shot of methotrexate to help guide it along. I have also been under significant amount of personal life stress and have been experiencing a lot of hair loss (continuiously for about 3 months now). Thyroid normal, no evidence of pcos, otherwise healthy 29-year-old.
Avatar n tn Today, I'm starting my 6th week (I think) but yesterday I left work early, went to the ER. I have been spotting which turned into bleeding. This is my 1st pregnancy so I didn't know what is going on, so went to the hospital. After, pee, blood and a vaginal ultrasound, they said my hormones are lower then they should be for pregnancy, they can't see anything as far as a sac or yolk, but that could be because it's early too.
1530346 tn?1291957891 I had to wait for several weeks before the hormones were strong enough to register on the test. I bled at little too, but I was still pregnant.
Avatar f tn So, it takes a bit of time for hormones to get going again. First, I'm really sorry about your miscarriage! That is always so hard. But it can take 7 or so weeks to get a period again after a miscarriage. It's been a bit longer for you though . . . Your hormones sound out of sync. I'd see your ob/gyn to do some blood work and see what is going on. Three months is a long time to go without a period.
Avatar f tn I had a miscarriage march 5th at 5w5d and am trying again. Can you get pregnant quickly after this?
Avatar f tn t worry yet, your body has to adjust to the sudden drop in hormones, then build a lining back up, ovulate and then have your period so I guess it takes awhile. I haven't even spotted yet. I wish it would hurry up! Good luck to you.
Avatar f tn i had a miscarriage 2 week ago, the hospital advised to try again once the bleeding had stopped, i have done ovulation tests and to start with they said i wasnt ovulatin but for the past week they all say i am ovulatin. the tests say that ovulation will be in the next 24 - 48 hours. is it right that i can be ovulatin for that long????? the hospital told me i will be more fertile but i dont understand that the tests are all showing the same for a week now???? sorry if i havent explained it well.
947345 tn?1245808051 Thank you so much. Your words are unbelievingly comforting and it is a wonder that one can find such inspiration across the ether (and probably half the world) from a stranger. I am happy for what I have. I have a very loving and supporting husband who, although he is getting older himself is still happy to keep trying. He is only concerned at the toll that the D&C took on my body last time. I am hoping for a natural miscarriage.
