Avatar f tn I'm so sorry for your loss. :( My first pregnancy was a miscarriage. It's a completely horrible thing to go though. I hope you have a good support network, I know I needed one when I lost my baby. If you're having brown spotting now, the rest should come soon.
Avatar f tn I was browsing through the group 18-24 and the questions seem very immature. On the next app update it would be great if they can differentiate the groups better.
Avatar n tn Ok so my friend just had her 3rd miscarriage and she has a history of depression and she say's she "just doesn't care anymore" about anything not even life. Her husband is deployed and i'm currently out of state with my fam cause my husband is deployed as well. What can i do for her i've talked to her an told her how much she means to me and others close to her such as her husband.
Avatar f tn s surgery if they know of any support groups, or your local library may have notices about help. I think you will find there is help out there, but you have to look for it yourself I am afraid. I have never hidden my illness from anyone. I am not ashamed of it. People with diabetis or asthma cannot help having their illnesses so don't be ashamed. Depression is an illness that many people suffer from. I do hope your family support you.

672839 tn?1305792947 To me, there are two types of groups, 1) Support and 2) Self Help. Support Groups are places to go and feel safe. Lead by others with medical conditions like ours, opinions are shared by all, and comfort is widely given while tears flow. The discussions are personal and individualized making this the place to be when your chin is on the ground. Self-Help groups relieve a different pain. In this setting professionals teach you the steps necessary to better yourself and your position.
Avatar n tn I have shied away from going to support groups for various reasons but am beginning to think now maybe one would be helpful. Thoughts? I feel like I am losing ground daily not only physically but also emotionally. I have applied for social security disability (something I said I would NEVER do) because my physician refuses to release me to go back to work. I just feel that I can no longer be the "strong" one.
Avatar f tn DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY SUPPORT GROUPS FOR HEP-C VIRUS AND PEOPLE GOING THROUGH THE TREATMENTS IN LEAVENWORTH KANSAS. GOING THROUGH TREATMENT 6 MONTHS INTO IT AND HAVING A VERY ROUGH TIME WITH THE DEPRESSION OF THE MEDICATIONS. IN NEED OF A SUPPORT GROUP.
Avatar f tn Seeking out support groups, web sites and literature is a great way of getting help through this difficult time. Individuals should also consider asking their health care provider for a referral to a counselor who is experienced in dealing with pregnancy loss.
Avatar m tn Are there any support groups that meet for Chiari survivors, sufferers in Knoxville, TN. My daughter had decompression surgery a year and a half ago. Since then she has been suffering from headaches and mind seizures as well as fear, depression and anxiety. She has had to quit her job and we are probably going to have to file for disability for her. I think a support group would help her feel not so all alone.
Avatar f tn What should I be concerned with and are my chance of miscarriage dropped because I saw a strong heart beat . Please help !!! I love having these groups .
Avatar f tn Well I lost the baby. Second miscarriage in less than 6 months. Does anyone know what could b the cause of multiple miscarriages.
Avatar n tn These are just some suggestions- Our local newspaper runs a section on Sunday that lists all the local support groups, help agencies, etc. That might be a place you could look. Also, your OB office or local hospital might have names of support groups in the area. A church nearby might offer grief counselling. The library or newspaper offices might have info as well. I wish you and your husband the best. You will make it through this.
Avatar f tn I do think that a grief and loss group may be of great help to you and you will help many others also. Call your local hospital and find out who to contact. The groups are made up of woman who have suffered losses also. I wish you the very best.
1083673 tn?1388888638 I think it takes a bit for those new groups to form. Keep checkin and there will be one!! As for telling people...you can tell whenever you're comfortable about it. Some people don't tell until later because of the risk of miscarriage but I would tell people, especially close friends about it right away. I would just want the support from loved ones right away if I were to miscarry again.

Avatar f tn I took one child birth preparation class with my first. It was fine but I already knew most of it from reading about it.
1135321 tn?1260517006 I had originally signed up for the food diary, etc, but we now have one here on med help and as I find it hard to keep one diary, journal, etc updated, I certainly do not have to handle 2 of them; therefore, I will stick with the one here on med help. You might also check out the other trackers - there are a lot of them that might be useful.
Avatar m tn How do you find local support groups in your area for narcotic addicts. Is there a website?
