At the time I just remember being terrified it was sooo much blood and clots and soo fast I was to scared to think to REALLY look in the toilet but at glance it was soo much blood the toilet looked as it was was completely blood filled and multiple clots. I was browsing through the group 18-24 and the questions seem very immature. On the next app update it would be great if they can differentiate the groups better.

I think it takes a bit for those new groups to form. Keep checkin and there will be one!! As for telling people...you can tell whenever you're comfortable about it. Some people don't tell until later because of the risk of miscarriage but I would tell people, especially close friends about it right away. I would just want the support from loved ones right away if I were to miscarry again.

It seems that Seattle does not have any support groups in the area? How do people cope when they find out they are positive for HSV 1 or 2? I was diagnosed over 3 years ago through a blood test IGg. I have pretty much isolated myself from going out, meeting anyone and I have no one to talk to at all. I got blood tested after going online and requesting the STD test through quest diagnostics laboratory. My results ccame back positive for both HSV 1 and 2.

To me, there are two types of groups, 1) Support and 2) Self Help. Support Groups are places to go and feel safe. Lead by others with medical conditions like ours, opinions are shared by all, and comfort is widely given while tears flow. The discussions are personal and individualized making this the place to be when your chin is on the ground. Self-Help groups relieve a different pain. In this setting professionals teach you the steps necessary to better yourself and your position.

I have shied away from going to support groups for various reasons but am beginning to think now maybe one would be helpful. Thoughts? I feel like I am losing ground daily not only physically but also emotionally. I have applied for social security disability (something I said I would NEVER do) because my physician refuses to release me to go back to work. I just feel that I can no longer be the "strong" one.

Besides the MS society chapter in Nashville, I would encourage you to attend any of the free programs (usually sponsored by a big pharma company like Teva) that you can find in your area. Talk with the people at your table and ask what groups they might attend. I have found three different groups through this method. It is universal that MS patients everywhere like to share... :-) Contact your drug mfg or look on their website.

The Northern Ireland Association for Mental health most probably run groups in Belfast and i beleive they ran groups jointly with the local community mental health teams as well. Mind is another grouping which i'm sure has some groups in Belfast which maybe helpful. Rethink I'm not sure about.

It's been 2 weeks now that I notice red spots in form of groups in the part of my real breast not the reconstructed part all the way to my shoulder and the bottom of my neck. I had a mastectomy and DIEP reconstruction on july 13 2009 , followed by 8 rounds of chemo and 37 radio ended on march 23rd 2010. Can this be a recurrence? so soon?

Are there any support groups that meet for Chiari survivors, sufferers in Knoxville, TN. My daughter had decompression surgery a year and a half ago. Since then she has been suffering from headaches and mind seizures as well as fear, depression and anxiety. She has had to quit her job and we are probably going to have to file for disability for her. I think a support group would help her feel not so all alone.

I had a septum in my uterus, and carried my son to full term. Later after a miscarriage, I had a D&C and they removed the septum. My son just pushed the septum aside as he grew. But the reasoning for removing the septum is that it has poor blood supply, and if an embryo implants on it, the embryo might not get enough blood and the pregnancy fail.
