It is hard to go to the TTC forum when your situation is quite different and also when you are trying to move on from your miscarriage it is difficult to go to the Miscarriage forum when sometimes it seems to open healing or old wounds when you constantly read about miscarriages. Not that the miscarriage forum hasn't helped many and will continue to help but there isnt an in between that so many of us need.

Hey ladies, I am new to this forum so I though I would share a little about me. I'm 31 and 14 weeks 3 days pregnant with our 1st baby. We are extremely exited as we have been trying for 6 years, have been on fertility meds, and had a miscarriage 2 years ago. Even though we were trying for so long we were surprised lol I think with being disappointed every month you give up on seeing the positive test...

Is this forum not working properly? It seems that my computer is telling me that it's still sept. 29th on this forum and nothing is updating. Anyone else having this problem?

I can't say enough about everyone in this community. It has been a real lifesaver for me. To know there is other people who understand what you are going through, whether it be a miscarriage, trying to concieve or are pregnant and have questions. sometimes the people around you just don't get it, they don't know what to say, think you need your space or maybe you can't talk to them about it. It can be a very lonely time.

Well I guess I'll be back on this forum sometime in the future. I miscarried. I want to make sure that I give my body plenty of time to heal. I can't beleive it. It *****! I don't know if it was from the long years on birth control, something wrong with the baby, my age or what. I know everything happens for a reason but it still *****.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I'm so sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I've had two myself, so I know how devastating it can be :-( If it's only been 2.5 weeks since your miscarriage, you probably have to wait a little longer to see if you get your period.

There's a lady on this forum who had a cerclage - Tanker Chic - I believe her cervix started dilating quite a bit at the 17th week mark but luckily she's okay and is now more than 33 weeks pregnant. Really, really urge your doctor to do this - obviously there's something going on especially since you lost both of your girls at that same point.

m sure you can carry to term after a late miscarriage too! Their is a forum on here for miscarriages. It was very helpful to me. Their May be a woman on there who can more fully answer.

I AM SO HAPPY THIS FORUM HAS BEEN CREATED.I HAVE HAD 2 M/C IN 6 MONTHS AND IT IS REALLY UPSETING ME.THE FIRST TIME I WAS 10 WEEKS PREGNANT AND I WENT FOR A NORMAL CHECK UP ON TH 31/1/08 AND DOCTOR TOLD ME THAT I HAD BLIGHTEN OVUM .MY HUSBAND AND I WERE SO UPSET.THE SAME DAY I WENT FOR A D&C TO BE DONE.

m 9 weeks pregnant and my doctor says that my hcg levels decreased and I will have a miscarriage. My last ultra sound was when I was 7 weeks although my uterus measured 6 weeks there was no baby to be seen. Does a decrease in my hcg levels mean that this pregnancy is going to end for sure? Should I get another ultra sound to confirm there is no baby and/ or heartbeat? She wanted to schedule a d&c right away but my heart won't let me.

Ive had 1 previous miscarriage and 34mths of ttc we finally got pregnant with an IUI and fertility meds (clomid and ovadriel).

I was 7 weeks pregnant as of last Sunday & had a miscarriage, went to the hospital bc I was bleeding a lot. I am 36 yrs old extremely healthy always ate fruits & veggies stayed away from red meat for the most part. My boyfriend is taking Venlafaxine 75mg every day & I can't help wonder if that could be the reason for our miscarriage.

I fell down the steps like 10 min. ago, I busted my back but my stomach hit a railing... I know I'm now at risk for a miscarriage but I am soooooo worried that my child is now at risk for brain damage... can someone tell me if this is true. I tried looking it up but didn't find anything.

I would rather just have it all in one community becuase less people would be active in a miscarriage forum and you wouldn't get as good as support as this pregnancy forum

Sorry to hear about this news. Unfortunately, miscarriages do happen to approx one out of five pregnancies, whether or not they occur naturally or as a result of IVF or other fertility treatment. Thus, chances of a second miscarriage are in the 20% range. If you have good quality frozen embryos, you might want to consider that route, or another fresh cycle.

What are some ways to prevent miscarriage? I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks on June 5th. They said that the baby stopped growing at 8-9 weeks. I was taking my prenatal vitamins a month before I got pregnant. I had to do progesterone suppositories starting at 7 weeks. Do you think that maybe they just started me on the progesterone too late and thats why I miscarried?

ok i posted this in another forum...and not getting any response.......i just found out that im 13 weeks pregnant and im rh neg. blood type, i had 2 miscarriages before 12-05 and 07-06. im preg again for the 2nd time and i didnt get a rhogam shot and i have been having back pain, cramping on my left side, (the only ovary i have) and alot of milky discharge. should i be worried that im having another miscarriage?

I recently had a DnC 3 weeks ago due to a missed miscarriage. I had a heart beat at 7 weeks and when i went for my 2nd 13 week ultrasound the baby had no heartbeat. Everything else continued to grow. I had a 13 week placenta producing natural HCG. I had been taking PG test every week since i found out I was pregnant because i had no morning sickness and i had a miscarriage with my last pregnancy. I drove myself crazy but taking PG test is not a guarantee. Dont drive yourself crazy about it.

broaden the range...maybe someone in the miscarriage forum (if there is one) is in the same position as you, and it couldn't hurt to see if anyone in any other forum has...I post in more than one sometimes, gets a more people sometimes.

t noticed a missed period, but did have pregnancy symptoms of nausea, larger appetite, constipation and tender breasts. Could this mean that i experienced a miscarriage or is there another reason for this? I have been pregnant before two years ago where I had an abortion so this could mean stimulation could lead to milk production without pregnancy?

thanks sue68, im having a very difficult time coping with this miscarriage, i have an awful feeling the miscarriage ended my chance at parenthood. there are sooo many grim stats out there, im glad i found this forum. never thought miscarriage would be sooooo painful.
