I look to be about 5 weeks i went to doc today had a vaginal ultrasound but according to my last period i should be 12 weeks doc took blood an wants me to come back in a few days to check an see if im really early or if its a miscarriage im not having any bleeding but a lil bit of cramps but i wouldn't really call them cramps.....i have alot of pregnant symptoms should i worry? Any advice is welcome!
A lot of women bleed in early pregnancy. Some even bleed the whole pregnancy. Don't get upset about it. Call your doctor and maybe they will get you in to see them. But there isn't anything they can really do being your so early.
That too depends on what your dr sees fit. Having one each appt is considered a lot. I'd say 4 a pregnancy is about the right amount. They give u two at your glucose test to check your sugar as well. I've had 5 so far ad I'm six weeks. With a past with complications and a lot of mcs my dr try's to keep my stress down so I've had a few more. If your worried u can always request one!
April 4th, 2012 I had my miscarriage. Here I am now 15 weeks with my second pregnancy and all i can do and think and say to myself is smile and kick the bs to door, and move on cause heres another day to love and another to love a new human your growing. Just remove that stress in your life and live life! I've found that having a dog helps too!
They are constant but sometimes they are very light so its hard to feel them.
The doc told me to wait for two weeks and do a home pregnancy test suspecting that it is either an early miscarriage or a blight ovum. I couldn't wait for two weeks going nothing and thinking of miscarriage so I went for another blood test 2-3 days later, and my results were 4470 units. Which proved that I was pregnant and it's not a miscarriage. Because in miscarriage the hormone level would drop and in pregnancy it doubles every 36-48 hours at this stage in pregnancy.
well the thing about a pregnancy test is HCG remains in your system for up to 4-8 weeks after a pregnancy has ended. This is not a valid way of determing if one has had a miscarriage or not. You need an ultrasound. Sorry, I can't rememer if you have had one or not. If you have what were the results?
I had an early miscarriage at 4 1/2 weeks and when I went to the doctor 2 days after bleeding began my preg test came up neg. The cramping definately felt different than a normal period and I did have clots on the 2nd day of bleeding. So, it is possible that you could have had a miscarriage, but it could have easily just been a wacky period as well.
I won't know for a couple weeks, but I was wondering if anyone had this experience at very early pregnancy and found out that everything was fine. I've had miscarriages at 6, 7 and 9 weeks but none of them started like this.
Happened to me got pregnant 1-2 weeks after a miscarriage, im now 31 weeks pregnant I took a test 2 months after, cause I was in denial, went to my first appointment I was already 14 weeks along, I had the worst morning sickness, tender breast, craving only for pineapples, cried over everything. Thank you everyone. I have been taking it real easy and trying not to stress out. I find out tomorrow what my hcg levels are. They were at just over 1000 on Thursday. The Dr said there is not much they can do at the moment being so early in the pregnancy. He knows I'm worried about my miscarriage 2 months ago and is advising me to bed rest until we see the hcg levels.
I would just practice good prenatal care and take care of yourself. The first 13 weeks are the trickier ones for miscarriage and that time can go by quickly if you stay busy. So, try to do so. I wish you all the luck in the world!!
On ultrasound yesterday the sonographer showed me 2 separate thin black areas in uterus and told me it was more than likely a failing pregnancy. Nothing seen inside. I am not bleeding and still have physical signs of pregnancy. I am also 47. If my dates were a week wrong do you feel this would make any difference or it is most likely she is right about expecting a miscarriage soon. I am excepting of this news but not totally convinced.. Feel unsettled. Please help with any suggestion.
Gosh, I hope everything is okay. In sincerity, I doubt they'd admit you this early as at 5 weeks, lots of women are just finding out they were even pregnant. They would often term this a chemical pregnancy as it would be a very early miscarriage. I'm so sorry if that is happening but it sounds like they are waiting to see. Sadly, one in four pregnancies end in miscarriage and it can be for no reason at all.
We had been in a honey for month, got signs of pregnancy like spotting of brown discharge, tender and swollen breasts on third week of January. But unfortunately, my period for January arrived earlier for 2 days with cramps (usually happens when I have my period)..was it a miscarriage or just an early period? Thanks!
I dont have much cramping at all. It happens once or twice a day and is very faint. I asked my husband to get me an early pregnancy test and I got a good line for positive in the evening around 7 pm. Then I had a second test the next day just to confirm in the morning at 10 am and got a positive but it was little faint. I undertook a third test in the evening the same day and it was a good dark color.
I know I'm early at 4 weeks 4 days but how much is two much blood? I've taken two pregnancy test and both are positive but now I'm bleeding not much but it's still freaking me out.
hi everyone! So .. It's my first pregnancy after 2 years of TTC. I did my first pregnancy test when I was 5 days late and it was negative. Two days later I did another test, came positive. Next morning did another one - positive again. Have been having cramps like menstrul cramps but very mild, nothing is worry about. Also have sore nipples. Went to see a doctor she did an abdominal u/s and didn't see anything but thick lining of the uterus.
