miscarriage

The doc said if I don't get my period in 10 days then come back n he'll repeat the test.. He also said it maybe very early stages of pregnancy n maybe that's what happening... But I don't think so I mean if I only have 2 hcg then im deffs not in any stage of pregnancy lol.. So oh well... Just want AF so show so I can continue on...
Can you micarry without blood if it happens in the early stages of pregnancy? If so, would a pregnancy test still show positive?
Hello, I agree with your doctor since the HCG levels have increased in number, any repeat pregnancy and miscarriage should be ruled out. Pregnancy during the early stages is hard to interpret on ultrasound abdomen and hence you should get the HCG levels monitored. Rising HCG levels are indicative of pregnancy and if the spotting continues then you may need to take progesterone supplements.
Constant stress can cause other problems in pregnancy but miscarriage no.. Especially when u r in early stages... But its most hormonal stage so you probably want to avoid taking intoo much stress... As yourbrain needs strength to handle all the changes... Relax n try enjoying urself.. N like other ladies said avoid him if he is only in mood to fight...
would you be bleeding? Also in early pregnancy 12-15 weeks can you feel your uterus or whatever through your belly? Or did you feel "pregnant"? Do all symptoms kind of subside?
I had a similar thing just happen. I had an early miscarriage at about 4 1/2 weeks. On the day I started to bleed my Dr. took blood and showed a level of 20 hcg. One week later my level was below 5. (I took a pregnancy test that day just out of curiosity to see if it showed that I was still pregnant... it was negative) Here I am about 4 1/2 weeks past my miscarriage and I am pregnant (took test 4 days ago). This time I feel pregnant. Slight cramping and tired.
As a caregiver, with children and being pregnant, it is very important to avoid prolonged stressful situations, as the risk for complications with your pregnancy and miscarriage, increase dramamtically with stress. I'm not able to offer you specific information,as I live in Canada and I don't know where you live (regarding local resources and support services) but please make inquiries on your own asap!
As the other ladies said, bleeding during early pregnancy doesn't necessarily mean a miscarriage, but for me it did. Please go and see your doctor asap. The ER will also see you if you can't get to your OB. Although, I'm sure the OB will find some time to fit you in for an ultrasound if you are worried and you're having some spotting. I started spotting last night and called the OB's office this morning. I am supposed to be 10 1/2 weeks as of today.
my levels were supposed to be at like 45,000 and they were only at 6,500 so my levels were really low to begin with so thats why I am thinking that the levels shown when they did the test to see if I was pregnant a second time werent just left overs that they were in fact the early stages on pregnancy... I know I shouldnt get my hopes up... but I want to think positive... if I end up not being pregnant I will be ok... i handled the first miscarriage a lot better than I thought I would...
Just because your last pregnancy ended in miscarriage. Doesn't mean your next one will.
The babies heart starts to beat at 5 weeks, and at the early stages it's only 80-85 bpm. It generally increases by 3 beats a day until 9 weeks. It should increase as the pregnancy progresses, though if it doesn't, that is usually a sign of miscarriage. The reason your doctor said there is nothing they can do, is because in almost every case, miscarriage is not preventable. It just means something was wrong with the baby.
If you are high risk, or have had a previous mc, they really dont recommend sex in the early stages of pg. As far as the 14w thing, I havnet heard that. I would talk to your doc about it. If this is a normal pg, with no previous problems, I say go for it, knock yourself out!
As nickie85 said your ovulation dates might be off or its possible you are in the early stages of a miscarriage. When did you find out that you were pregnant? If you had any blood tests?
I just thought I'd share some good news and hope for those women who are in the early stages of pregnancy and have bleeding and cramping. I am 7 weeks pregnant and for the last week I've had on and off spotting and two fairly heavy episodes of bleeding and cramping (and it was fresh blood). I went to the ER the first time I bled heavy and then the Dr.'s the second time. Both times I had an ultrasound and they saw the embryo with a very good strong heartbeat.
If you had chlamydia in early stages of pregnancy would your midwife pick this up from your blood tests?? I know they test for some things but do they test for this??
I am in the early stages of pregnancy and I had some bleeding my hcg level was 3772 and after 48hrs it only whent up to 3995 why didnt it double and what does this mean?
There are many pregnancies that end in the early stages. Any kind of pain isn't just first trimester blues. I would be calling the doctor right away about any pain to make sure that everything is ok.
my dilemma is i started bleeding on saturday and went to er, bleeding was light but red and they did a uss and diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage, er then told me to go to early pregnancy unit on Monday for blood tests to see if HCG levels were doubling.
I know that it can be normal but you know that us girls are crazy about all the little things that happen in the early stages of pregnancy... I'm fine. Still having headaches and just plain yucky feeling (which are good signs I know). I haven't had any cramps or anything like that so they are not worried :) I am too early for an ultrasound yet but I will be by the beginning of June!
Pregnancy after tubal does require close medical supervision in the early stages of pregnancy. You really need to either take that pregnancy test or see your Dr. for a blood test. I will also say that having the odd abnormal cycle is not uncommon. I am 43 now (had my son at 40) and still fairly regular. However, over the last year or so I get the odd shorter or longer cycle and sometimes even mid cycle spotting. These things were not normal for me either until fairly recently.
For what it is worth, even though modern obstetrics is pretty good, there are limits about how early a pregnancy can be identified and dated, and in the earlier stages there is no medical way to reliably pinpoint how far along you are. hCG levels vary greatly, and a baby is not visible on even the best ultrasounds until the 5th or 6th week. It was frustrating that they couldn't tell you what you wanted to know, but maybe nobody could have.
Having morning sickness sore breast and did another test to check my hormones so still good don't remember having discharge with my others very odd but all pregnancy is different i did speak to midwife she say its normal most women do have discharge around the early stages on worry if turns to blood as in bright red with clots and have bad cramps in back and front and are doubled up with it.
Juat a question sorry to not have any answers for you but i am in my stages of early pregnanc and bleeding i have to wait it out and take another blood test to see if my hcg has gone up. How do you know when you have had a miscarriage without a doctor??
Is it normal to have a lower backache in very early pregnancy? I have heard mixed things and was wondering what experiences you had with it. I had a miscarriage in June and while I was having it, I did have a lower back ache. I just found out I was pregnant today and my lower back is aching, although I don't have any other negative symptoms. I guess I am just very nervous this time around.
You can lose a pregnancy at any stage, just the further along you are the less likely this is. An early miscarriage is called a chemical pregnancy.
It sounds to me like a normal pregnancy in the early stages.
first of all im so sorry about your loss, i think 3 weeks of bleeding is normal after a mc, with mine i bleed for about 2 1/2 weeks, but ive heard some bleed for much longer and mc is so common in the early stages of pregnancy that (unless you fork out the doe) they probably wont do much early testing until, like your dr said, the 2nd or 3rd mc, i know how frustrating this must be, but your odds of having a successfull pregnancy the next time around are good, i know everyone says this but many
is likely correct, as chromosomal problems are very often the cause of a pregnancy failing to progress after the early stages, and that happens at conception, not from your diet. I am sorry for your loss, and I wish you a happy healthy pregnancy soon!
