miscarriage during period

Can you get you period during your first month of pregnancy? I think I did but it was lighter than normal and it didn't last as long as normal..

t have cramping I wouldnt worry too much. I had a miscarriage this past june and I was bleeding bright red and like a period but I had really bad cramping that woke me in the middle of the night.

OK this is weird but here goes. My period came today n i had this gigantic clot, it hurt like crazy i felt like i was is labor or something. My period came late this month n i think i might have had been pregnant because my bf ejaculated inside while we were having sex but that was during my save period, so now I'm worried that i might av had a miscarriage.

well now Ive been bleeding all day Im at 8 1/2 weeks and now would be the time of month id normally start my period...could i be having a miscarriage or could of multiple test showed a false positive? Ive been sick, tired and have breast pain but this all started within the past two week. When could i take another test to see if Im still pregnant if this bleeding continues like a normal period?

You can have decidual bleeding during pregnancy that occurs around the time you would expect a period. However, this isn't a period. During menstruation the uterine lining is completely shed, meaning any embryo that was implanted would also be shed causing a miscarriage.

Hello everyone! I am new to the pregnancy forum. I had a miscarriage & D&C done in June this year. A week later my fiance & I started TTC again. July I got my period but it was mainly spotting with a few normal cycle days. Then in August I got my period again but it was mainly spotting again with a few normal cycle days just like in July. I started getting a lot of pregnancy symptoms so this past Sunday the 6th of Sept. I took a pregnancy test that morning & it was positive!!!

what colour are the clots? chances are that its a miscarriage with clotting that early... i know my cousin had some heavy bleeding a bit further a long than you but it was due to her placenta you will have to wait for the results are you still bleeding now just try and take it easy are you having any pain?

I took two home pregnancy tests cause I was a couple days late which were both faintly positive and then I started my period the next morning so I took two more to see if they were positive and they were so I went to the hospital and the nurse sent me away and said I couldn't be pregnant because Ihad my period so then I went back the next day and the Dr sent me for a pregnancy blood test and I'm still waiting to hear back.

If you mean monthly bleeding as in your period then you cannot be pregnant and have a period - it's not possible. Also, false negatives will only occur if you've tested too early. That's why you need to wait at least 2 weeks since intercourse of until your period is due to take a pregnancy test. Why do you ask the question?

Hi ladies. I am almost 7 weeks. The baby is still there & intacted.. But I have random times & days I will just have a gush of blood come out of me & then stop.. Its very worriful. The doc says it could b a cyst but is not really sure. Any ideas on what it could b or has it happened to anyone else? Ive had one miscarriage already & praying I wont have another.

Its now December 6th and Ive had some symptoms of being pregnant and i was pretty sure i was since it was during my ovalution but today morning I had a bloody discharge that kinda seemed like my period. I dont know what it means. Could it of been a miscarriage or is it possible that I MIGHTstill be pregnant. ?

that were just intense cramps so the point i couldnt move. well, i started my period and i took my tampon out and a large piece of tissue came out...and i could feel something in my vagina..so i got it..it was another large like 3x2in sheet of tissue..not clot. but sheet. it was white with like purple/maroon/red vein looking things in it. ive had clots before and this was def not clots. what is this? there were like 2 or 3 sheets of this very tissue looking. anybody?

I am 5weeks/2 days pregnant. I have been bleeding for 2 1/2 days now. I don't recall any tissue, just dark blood, kind of heavy like a period. Today it's a bit more red, but still darker. I have an appointment to see the dr. tomorrow. Has anyone experienced this and found that the baby still survived? It is imagined that this is the sign of a miscarriage. I don't think I have any cramping...sometimes things are in your mind.

I am five weeks pregnant and for about one week straight i was bleeding, but it wasn't a normal menstrual flow it was just when i urinated. i was passing clots and all.i had an u/s done but they didn't hear the fetus heartbeat or even a pulse. does this mean i was having a miscarriage?my doc said 2 schedule another u/s but i am so nervous. i lost a baby two years ago at 5 months due to having fibroids but i had a myomectomy about a year ago and this is my 1st pregnancy since then.

I had a natural miscarriage 3 months ago (Nov. 12). The baby stopped developing during week 7 while the placenta kept growing; I miscarried at 12 weeks 5 days. It was a long wait but I never showed any signs of infection. Six weeks after the miscarriage my hcg level returned to 0 and my period came. The period was a lot longer and darker/more brown than usual with a few very tiny clots. I read that this was a normal experience and didn't worry too much about it.

I was wondering if I possibly had a miscarriage during an unknown pregnancy. I have never had a normal period, I normally have one every other month or I'll skip a couple months. About a week ago I woke up with severe cramps and felt a rush of fluid, so I immediately got up and went to the restroom and was shocked when I found that I had so much blood it had run down my leg almost to the ankle. I thought it might just be my period but I never started after that.

When i lost my baby we had to have a d&c done also and was told to wait until after my first period. We got pregnant 6 months later but during those 6 months i didnt have a regular period. It was the 4th month after the d&c when i had a "normal period" then one followed exactly 28 days later for the 5th month. and the 6th month we found out we were pregnant and now have 5 weeks until our due date! :) i think my problem was i was thinjing about beibg pregnant too much.
