I am 21 years old and have struggled with obesity since I was a kid. I am 274 lbs as of right now with high blood pressure. I want to get in shape and lose the excess fat. I dont look healthy at all and my family has a history of obesity and many health problems come with it. I want to prevent these health issues and start living/eating/working out right. My husband has just recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which we were told, in his case, was caused by Grave's Disease. However, I am very confused because my husband weighs 420 pounds and falls in to the morbidly obese category. Everything I have read says that hyperthyroidism and Grave's Disease causes unintentional weight loss. How is this possible? His blood test results are TSH - 0.008 UIU/ML, Total T3 - 79.67 NG/DL, and his Free T4 is 1.81 NG/DL.

I do not think you're having a miscarriage. What you saw was old tissue from your uterus. Definitely make an appointment with an OBGYN once your bleeding has stopped.

It is thought to be related to obesity and some medical conditions. Since your child is young, I would like to rule out Polycystic ovarian sydrome in your daughters case.
