I had my fist miscarriage on June 28the I was only 8 weeks. I didn't have to have a d&c. I was gonna be a first time mother. When I found out I lost my baby I was devastated that's all I ever wanted. Now I have dreams of a baby and I wake up and it's not there. My 2 bestfriends are pregnant now and it hurts when they talk about their babies and to even be around them. How do I cope it's like I have tried everything.
I waited to tell eveyone when i got into second tri around 13 weeks just to make sure it didnt follow with bad news if you guys are close just show her a pic of the ultrasound and tell her your expecting:)
Yes, because stress raises you blood pressure. When your blood pressure rises causes your baby's blood pressure to rise which can cause your baby to die from pretty much a heart attack. Causing a miscarriage. We just learned this in one of my nursing classes. As well as my midwife told me it also.
I no the feeling I also had a miscarriage in 2012 so I no what it is like to go through the blood tests an then the aftermath, im now 34 weeks pregnant with a little boy an had to go through blood tests at the start of the pregnancy because of slight bleeding all I can say is try stop stressing as it will drive u crazy not to mention depression, what is ment for u won't pass u by, I hope all goes well for u, think positive x
I am so sorry sweetie ..i know how you feel i had 3 miscarriage and after the third one i gave up i felt like it was never going to happen for me and my husband ..i also said the same thing that i cant take the pain anymore . I even had my faith shaken because i couldnt understand why god would give healthy kids to people that dont deserve it..so i stop trying..and i got pregnant again and i didn't tell anyone because i knew it was going to end in another miscarriage.
t think so just worried i commented back and they replied if you go deep it causes miscarriage and if you go fast to point your rocking fast and belly is shaking.
I just want to know if any of you mother to be know how to stop miscarriage still in still at risk for one?
How far along are you? Did he tell you what your hcg levels were? I had a mc back in Sep ending in a d&c and a natural mc Feb 8th. The levels are supposed to double every 72 hours. If the levels aren't doubling as they should be, then that could be an indication that there is a problem.
It's very to sad to hear about miscarriages...esp older women who are ready to have a family and want children.
However, I have very little knowledge on this subject and want to learn more...like, are there real obvious reasons why miscarriages happen? I guess severe trauma like car accidents and falls are obvious reasons. I'm not talking about those.
But is there another reason? Miscarriages happen at any age, I know that...but is there a real reason...stress?
Hi. I'm 38 years old and when I started TTC just before I turned 36, I got pregnant the first try, but had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Was pregnant again within 4 months and an US at 10 weeks found that the fetus had died at 6 weeks. I had a D&C and after this it took an entire year to get pregnant, only to result in a miscarriage only about a week after I had a PPT.
If some one has more then two miscarriages it would be a good idea to get blood work done to find out why it keeps happening. I am waiting on my blood work to come back. My husband and I do not have chromosomes/genetic problems so I am waiting to see if I have a blood clotting disorder. Some women may have a blood clotting disorder that would cause miscarriages in the first trimester due to the baby not getting enough blood flow. So the doctor would put them on a blood thinner during pregnancy.
There is actually a cook book called "cooking to conceive". and it says pineapple actually induces miscarriages. it causes your body to start labour as well which is why you aren't supposed to have much of it when you are pregnant.
I know it is frustrating after a miscarriage but Dr's won't do much until you have been trying for a year.
I miscarried a little over a month ago and we have been trying to get pregnant since. Im almost positive Im pregnant but I am now getting the same pains and cramping I was getting when I miscarried. I also just spotted blood and Im not sure if it is another miscarriage or just my normal cycle. I wanna quit smoking but here is my problem, i like it to much. I'm 22 years old and i have been smoking since i was 15 and i never even thought of quitting. now i have an education that if i want to work in that particular field i will need to quit. but i like smoking so much i don't want to quit but i have to quit. going into an interview smelling like body spray and a hint of cigarette isn't the best way to get a job.
They won`t investigate possible causes until I have a third miscarriage and for obvious reasons I`d rather try to do something to help before we have to go through this heartache again.
Any advice much appreciated.
