I’m 16 and I started my period the gist of the month was on it for maybe 4 or 5 days.. didn’t think anything of it. I stopped on the 5 day and wasnts bleeding for 4 days and then I started again and have been on it for 11 days now.
I cannot stop stressing and reading all about hcg levels. I had a miscarriage a few months ago.. Now pregnant again and they checked my hcg. It was in the 300's and I think it was at 4w5d. Waiting until Mon or Tues to test again. They tell you not to stress but worrying 5 days and not stressing... Impossible! Frustrated.... I don't want to go through this again.

yeh i had a d&c done on the 26th! i am still bleeding waiting on it to stop so i can try again!!
He said that there is nothing to do to stop a miscarriage at 6 weeks if the bleeding is caused by one, and that the bleeding might be from something else entirely, and they can't tell, and all you do is get exposed to germs and illness when you sit around in the ER waiting room. He told me what I should have done instead is to go to bed, keep well hydrated with water, and not get up except for going to the loo and eating until 24 hours after the bleeding stopped.
After finishing the medication, approximately 2 months later I began bleeding. I continued to bleed for 54 days. The doctor attempted to stop this by putting me on birth control, completing an entire pack in 5 days, then starting a new pack the following Sunday to take regularly. The bleeding did not stop. I ended up having a d&c in October 2011. I also have pcos. Has anyone ever experienced this & could the bleeding have been from my miscarriage and complications from it?
Some women do bleed for long periods of time after a miscarriage. They usually try to stop this though with things like an estrogen shot. Some women do temporarily go on BC pills too to get things regulated again. If the bleeding continues, they often look for another reason such as arteriovenous malformation. I know this has to be really frustrating. And your doctors are not really being proactive in helping you. Can you switch to a different doctor?
I don't think it's ever too early to miscarriage. I've had my bloodwork done and a positive test. Birds doctor told me my hcg level was low..
Was it heavy bleeding or spotting? You really can't tell unless you go get a quantitative HCG test ran and you really need more than one in order to tell what is going on.
Hi guys Im 7+6 I was bleeding pretty heavy last night so I went to the hospital no cramps no clots just bleeding they were not able to tell me if I was having a miscarriage and they told me there was no need to take ultra sounds are anything because of I was having a miscarriage there was nothing they could do to stop it do I was told to just go home and stay on strict bed rest , the bleeding has slowed down and now it's just pink only when I wipe myself , can someone tell me what might be h

Thank you for all of your input. It is good to know that other doctors agree and think that this is not abnormal. UPDATE....I finally stopped bleeding on Sunday 4/20/08, 12 1/2 weeks after the miscarriage D&C. The bleeding lasted from 1/24/08 to 4/20/08.
