miscarriage

when you bleed from a miscarrige its not considered a period but the next time you bleed is a period and i think concieve any time from then on
Hello, You didn't have a miscarriage without bleeding. If indeed you were pregnant the pregnancy may have failed resulting in what we consider a missed abortion (i.e., an early failed pregnancy that has yet to pass vaginally). These usually resolve one of three ways: spontaneous miscarriage, induced miscarriage (with a medication called misoprostol) or dilation and curettage.
I had my right tube removed on Tuesday 13th I started bleeding on thurs 15th is that af o is that just bleeding from loosing my tube and pregnancy? It was pretty heavy like with my period lasted 4 days, and if it was af when would I ov?
I have always considered the bleeding after the M/c to eb my period. I am not sure though, I also concieved very quickly after each m/c and I had 4. ie... I had a m/c end of Oct, and was pregnant by Jan!
Could it have been a miscarriage? Is there anyway to tell exactly? Should I get any medical help considering if it was a miscarriage, it was so early? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
HI! It is quite common for the first period after a miscarriage to be unusual. I usually tell m patients to expect something different than normal. If you were my patient, I would tell you: If the bleeding continues or gets heavy or clotty, you should come in to the office, but most likely it will go away on its own and your next cycle will be more normal. ( By the way, I ALWAYS recommend a pregnancy test--just to rule out a new pregnancy.
If you were to get pregnant before AF arrived would they actually consider the first day of bleeding in a mc as the first day of a period? I hope I made sense. If not I am so sorry. someone from Pamsupport told me that. So I was wondering if anybody here heard such a thing. Thank you so much. Baby dust to all TTC.
sadley alot of women do concieve but mc soon as period is due,so many of us didnt know we wer pregnant.which can result in slightly late period, maybe clotts,i suffer with this in some cycles.it does not decrease your chances of getting pregnant. and does not mean your infertile,..
I missed a period, spotted a little, started aug 1st and am still on my period, progestrone pills didnt stop it, birth control pills didnt stop it, and had fever, chills, etc for a week or so. It was normal, then brown, now pinkish tissue-like with mild cramping. Preg. tests are neg. What does all this mean?
I would keep requesting hCG levels. If they are still going up but so slowly, you might want to consider a D&C or D&E. If they begin to go down, you're in better shape for this "watchful waiting" approach. When it is considered a miscarriage is now. You would be considered to be in the process of miscarriage.
I think i had a miscarriage sometime last year i dont know for sure but i was experiecing some very unusual symptoms. Before the bleeding and cramping started i hadn't had my period in about 3months i wasn't very worried at first doe to the fact that my periods were irregular that year sometimes i would have it and somethimes didn't get at all. During that time i did fanily take a home preganacy test and it came out negative...
hi....i wish to getan idea when exactly it is considered as miscarriage?i found out i was pregnant on 26/06 (~4weeks pregnant)with spotting. however blood test a week later on the 2/07 was told is not an ongoing pregnancy. so stopped using progesterone pessaries supplied aweek ago. 3/7 i got heavy period with cramps. this last for about a week. blood test done again after one week on 9/7...spotting still.....but my hcg is still increasing. not doubled but slow increased.
they date your pregnancy from the first day your period started, not when conception took place, so if your doctor is saying that he doesnt think that this is a good pregnancy it will be because of your hcg levels not rising enough, they need to riise by a minimum of 60% over a 48-72 hr time frame, preferably doubling in that time for the pregnancy to be considered viable, so the slow rise in hcg combined with the bleeding doesnt look to good
However, I eventually got to sleep but awoke to severe bleeding. It was heavier than any period I have ever had, two weeks too early for my period and had several large clots in it. I bled heavily for the remainder of that day and the next, but very lightly for several days after. I did not consider until a few days ago that it may be a miscarriage as I have a coil fitted (I have an 8 year old daughter) and take the contraceptive pill.
I tried to see a doctor but noone was available till friday, so on thursday may 28th i went in emergency room coz was heavily bleeding like a period. They said i was miscarring the baby. They performed a pelvic examination, my tummy hurted really bad when the doctor pressed, then a vaginal ultrasound that showed nothing. After doing an urine and blood test they said i was having a miscarriage.
There are so many things that can cause bleeding, and miscarriage is only one of them. I had bleeding like that when my hematoma was bleeding out, and it had no impact at all on the baby. Please let us know how your doing. We are here for you.
My last period started on October 18th, 2007. I started taking pregnancy tests on Wed Nov 14th and have taken 11 tests since. All of the tests were positive. This morning Nov 18th, 2007 I took another test and realized that I was spotting. I then took 3 more tests which then showed up negative. Do you think I am having a miscarriage?
on 4/20 I started bleeding like a medium flow period bleed. I have had few symptoms up to this point at which I was 6 weeks 5 days from LMP. I freaked out immediately and went for an u/s. We saw the gestational sac and yolk sac. No reason for bleeding. My doc said to rest and wait it out. I bled for 6 days little clotting and absolutely no cramping. I went one week later for another u/s and to my surprise the gest. sac was still there and what looked like the beginning of the fetal pole.
I had a miscarriage in August 2010, at 5 weeks. It was uneventful, no worse than a period, but my doctor wanted me to come in to make sure that "everything came out." He did a transvaginal ultrasound, which confirmed that I had a complete miscarriage. I had my second miscarriage in January 2011, which resulted in a D&C. I bled very heavily (sometimes passing clots as big as baseballs) for 11 days, trying to do it on my own, before my doctor encouraged me to have the surgery.
I had had some bron staining in decemeber but the 1st day off my last period was 26th Novemeber. I booked an appointment with my local midwife and she tried to hear a heart beat but she could when i went to the hospital for an enternal scan they measured the baby at 3.6mm but still couldn't hear or see a heart beat. I then was told to come back a week later and they informed me there has been no growth and now i have been given the options off what to do for the miscarriage.
Yesterday started cramping and passed some tissue and I am still bleeding like a period. Does this always mean miscarriage. Anyone experienced this and still had the pregnancy go on.
if its extreme pain and you are doubled over in pain then yes, it is worth going to the er, especially when some bleeding is happening. also consider if it is round ligament pain from rolling over too quickly or getting up too fast. i have certainly been experiencing that lately. perhaps investing in a pregnancy book will help as a reference when you have concerns also.
So now I'm trying to recover, trying to put it behind me but the fact that I'm STILL bleeding really doesn't help at all. Since my miscarriage I have been bleeding for 1 week and 4 days. I insisted on skipping the D&C when I was at the hospital from the fear of scarring and just minimizing my chances in the future, that's just me and considering I didn't need it when I miscarried before, I felt like I didn't need it now.
If your concerned you didn't bleed enough for a miscarriage, call your dr and let them know you hardly bleed and wondered if they could do some tests to see if you passed everything. It's possible that if you are miscarrying that you still have some to pass. Some women bleed on and off for several weeks before they pass everything.
Since my initial u/s at 4 weeks, I had not seen any bleeding. The tech told me that miscarriage is considered if fetal pole is 5cm or greater w/o h/b. I am so scared and had bouts of anticipation grief as I tell try to convince myself that this pregnancy may not be viable; yet, a small part of me wants to be strong and say that there is a chance. Has anyone out there experienced similar situation? Should I just give up and not kid myself into believing that this pregnancy will last?
My 1st daughter was a high risk pregnancy I had very light bleeding with her pregnancy for the 2st three months, she was considered highrisk now almost 8 healthy as she could be after my first two kids I've concentrated on them.
