They can confirm if your pregnant and if your harmones are at appropriate levels and growing. If so than nothing to worry about..

With my current pregnancy (12w 4d) I had brown discharge off and on until about 9 weeks and my ultrasound yesterday showed a perfectly healthy baby. Unfortunately, if you are at the beginning stage of a miscarriage, there isn't much you can do to stop it. Keep an eye out for the pink and red, but don't stress too much.

I am 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant and Friday I was loosing bit of brown discharge it was a light brown, don't know if it was old blood or discharge went to the doctors and they have booked me in for a scan next week. I would not worry unless you have bright red bleeding. I had brown spotting with my son and he is a perfectly healthy 2.5 year old now. Brown typically means old blood. It could be left over from baby implanting in the uterus.

Hmmm tan discharge...not too sure what that could be as usually implantation bleeding is described as a light pink discharge or an extremely light period. Do you think it could've been dried up CM? I know that I started getting a lot more of this discharge around the time I found out I was pregnant. Implantation does occur 6-12 DPO so it may very well be associated with that. Let's hope that's it. Take a test at 14 DPO and let us know how it goes. Good luck.

Doctors say that they cant say anything before ultrasound and its too early at this stage to get ultrsound done. I m tensed a lot since same thing happened during my last miscarriage. Brown discharge is very little cant say it a bleeding.

(I had one last year) I went to the doctor and the baby has a heart beat so they send me home and told me to rest as much as possible I did and the red bleeding stopped. Could be decidual bleeding which is bleeding at the time when you would have had a period. I have read that as long as the cramping is mild and the discharge is minimal u should be okay but ask ur doc if u are worried.
