Im now almost 5 weeks, so of course Im worried because this was when I had the miscarriage last time. Are you still bleeding? I then started bleeding bright red pretty heavy. I had to wear a pad to bed last night. this morning it was still lightly bleeding and now I am lightly spotting. Has this happened to anyone with it being that heavy and that bright red? I've had light brown spotting after sex but nothing like this. I tried calling the ob but it's the weekend and I only got to speak to a nurse who was reading off a list if questions. she said to wait 24 hours to see if it would stop.
When I lay down the bleeding stops but when I walk, even just to the bathroom, the bleeding begins again. I have gone to the ER twice and the first time they checked me for a tubal pregnancy and said everything looked good and my cervix was closed. The second time my HCG had more than tripled in two days and my cervix was still closed. Does anybody know what the bleeding could be from? I had a miscarriage in February and I am worried that it is going to happen again.
I had a Miscarriage and had to have a D and C done that was in nov 18th and i still have not have had my period and today is Dec 21st how long after a D and C should i get my period.....I'm not on birth control because we are going to try again but they told me to wait atleast two periods I don't want to rush anything but they told me 2 to 4 weeks before my period begins. I stopped bleeding about a week to a few days after my D an C.
Since your friend has just found out she has breast cancer, she must be under the care of a surgeon and/or oncologist. They woold be in the best position to evaluate and explain to her the bleeding from her breast, since they would have available to them all of her medical hx, as well as the results of all of her tests and physical examination.

Doc said it could be normal or could be the beginning of a miscarriage which would be devastating. I didn’t bleed at all with my 1st but had Placenta previa with my 2nd and bled very heavy around 10-11 weeks. I was just hoping for some feedback. Thank you! Btw I’m right at 6 weeks along.

i wish someone more knowledgeable than me would have commented! I am going through the same thing except I am only 5 weeks and lost everything that I had started feeling last week like tender breasts and nausea. My dr did a blood test today and is going to again next week to make sure my hcg is rising, he did say he wasn't super worried about it because I am not bleeding or cramping. Hopefully you don't have any of that going with it.
ok when I went to the doctor on the 17 they said they heard the heart beat of the baby. Today im worried I haven't felt pregnant lately, like I don't have symptoms. Im 13 weeks today. And I haven't had any bleeding or anything and I know that's the first sign of a miscarriage. Im just worried sick can someone please ease my mind?
You really need to see a doctor to determine if it is a miscarriage, They will be able to scan, check your cervix and also monitor your HCG, Not all bleeding means miscarriage its quite normal to spot in pregnancy.
How far along are you?
On started out of the blue I started having heavy bleeding. Heavier than a period and it started with a bit of a gush. I went to the ER. They examined me, said my cervix was open and that I had miscarried. They even wrote "spontaneous abortion" on my discharge paper and told me to follow up with my doctor. Well my heavy bleeding lasted several hours and then tapered off to more of a period like bleeding.
Thank y'all. That makes me feel better. It has been better today. I had a miscarriage end on June 1st of July and the pain was simular, but no bleeding. I'm trying to stay positive, but it's hard.
Having a miscarriage was actually way more painful for me then actually going through a natural birth. I had very bad cramping, large blood clots, lots of bleeding. I would say for about 2 weeks. My next period was a month long. Which might be adnormal.
