Miscarriage bleeding and cramping

Common Questions and Answers about Miscarriage bleeding and cramping

miscarriage

I had a miscarriage on March 3rd. It was an ectopic so I had surgery, but only bled for two days and started my period 27 days later which was a normal period. A friend of mine had a miscarriage on March 1st and she only bled for 1 day as well, but she ended up having a d&c. I will keep you in my prayers.
The doctor also said SOMETIMES this can happen which gives me hope. It is now Monday and I am still bleeding and cramping but haven't miscarried. I would like to know if any of you had, had experiences like this and what the outcome is. I just pray my baby is okay!
Hi there, have you had any other symptoms? I am 5w3d and have been experiencing cramping and today have brown discharge on and off... i am worrified but as this is my first i dont know whats good or bad...
Today I am bleeding and craping to. I went back to the ER yesterday morning and I was still pregnant. My levels were 951 which was not what the dr expected as great so there is still a chance I could have a miscarriage and i am so nervous. I don,t want to loose this child it means so much to the family but is so stressing me out. I want to stop bleeding and have a happy pregnancy.
So I am 6 weeks pg and my first Dr appt is this Thurs but I'm concerned over the cramping I get. It's been going on about a week and it's not severe and there'sno bleeding but I'I worried because I had a miscarriage 2 years ago. My blood is 0 new and I asked the nurse if I needed a rho gam shot when I made my appt but she said no. Just wondering what everyone thinks thanks!!
I don't want to scare you, but bleeding accompanied by cramping could be a sign of miscarriage. I think you should call your doctor. It might be nothing, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Take care!
Can cramping and vaginal pressure be a sign of miscarriage.
My levels had only went up to 156. Does this mean that a miscarriage is imminent? I have had one miscarriage with bleeding and cramping. The same symptoms I am having now. I just had my son this past June. I had bleeding and cramping with this pregnancy also at 9 weeks. Is it possible that my hcg levels could go up and I could still have this baby?
Orgasms cause the uterus to contract, which for most women is safe, but for some not safe and can lead to bleeding and/or miscarriage. Hopefully everything is ok. If the bleeding was minimal with no recurrence, hopefully it was just a one-time thing. Check with your doctor / midwife and tell them about the orgasm. Good luck!
As long as you're not bleeding, you're good. I've had them so bad it woke me up. It's everything stretching and growing. It hurts. I was freaking out at first because in the first trimester cramping means a symptom of miscarriage, but after that it's expected.
I have been having some cramping. I had a miscarriage in may. So I'm extremely cautious right now. I'm 5weeks 6 days. I go to the doctor tomorrow. No bleeding. just the cramps. And looots of gas. Just don't want to lose my 2nd child.
I am 4 weeks pregnant and experiencing light bleeding and on and off cramping. Is this normal?
I had bleeding and cramping at just after 11 weeks so I went to the hospital. Everything was fine! The placenta had moved which caused the bleeding. The lady who did the scan said it could go either way (be fine or miscarriage). I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and everything is going well. Good luck!
No bleeding yet and cramps have been on and off for the past week.
If you experience cramping along with spotting or bleeding, fever, chills, change in vaginal discharge, nausea and vomiting, feeling faint, or discomfort while urinating you should call your doctor. Cramping during early pregnancy can occur with a urinary tract infection or be caused by gas and bloating that frequently occur during pregnancy. It can also be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy.
I think the majority of the women on her will tell you that early pregnany cramping is normal. I am 12 weeks with my 3rd and have had cramping with all 3 pregnancies and have also had 2 early miscarriage( Chemical Pregnacies) You only need to be concerned if there is bleeding.
some cramping and pressure is normal, but if the cramping leads to bleeding then it's best to contact your doctor as it may be a sign of miscarriage. Even at 18 wks I feel cramping from ligaments stretching and pressure from the growing baby. it'll continue through pregnancy, but this is normal. Meanwhile make sure to rest, get plenty of sleep, and take the prenatals. Congrats on your pregnancy and good luck!!
I had severe cramping that lasted about an hour and then went away and just back to the light cramping on and off I had been experiencing before. I was tempted to go to the ER but since it went away I thought it must not be that serious, I was still worried though so went to see my doctor first thing the next morning. I was told it looked like I might have a urine infection adn was given antibiotics. I asked if that was what the pain was caused by and was told 'probably'.
I took at Pregnancy test and it was positive... for two days I've been cramping like mad and I just want to know if that was a bad sign....
/ t have a miscarriage or is it just implantation bleeding. I didn't have this pain with my first and it's bothers me something is wrong. My on office is closed on Fridays so I can't call for an appointment until Monday...
The cramping can be scary but if you don't have any bleeding then it is probably nothing to worry about. I have also had a miscarriage and it was much worse pain than what I would call cramping. Good luck..hope this helps!
is light cramping normal? I'm 13w and I often have light cramping in my left side, but it's never exactly painful but I do feel i. just a llittle worried I'm so excited about this baby and would be heart broken to lose it. don't want to be ignoring signs if a miscarriage if this is not normal. no bleeding or anything, and like I said the cramps are not painful. I lost my other pregnancys way before I was this far along so I'm basically a clueless ftm!
hi! i am dive weeks today and i am having cramps too. i went to the docgor yesterday and she told me that was normal. also that the paon should be in the center and not on the sides. the cramps hurt as much as when i was in my period but the difference is that now they come and go and dont presist as long as they did when i wasnt pregnant. hope i helped you! good luck!
Only time they are not normal is if they are doubling her over (to the point nothing not even warm showers or Tylenol will help) and/ if heavy bleeding comes with it! Have her take a warm shower....drink a couple bottles of water, and put a heating pad on her belly (the heat won't hurt the baby)! If none of those help have her put in a call to the doctor!
And are you experiencing any spotting/bleeding? It could indicate miscarriage if you are cramping along with spotting and/or back pain, but even then, some women go on to have healthy pregnancies as spotting can be pretty common. I know that cramping in the 1st trimester is very common. I've been through 2 miscarriages so I know your concern. I was cramping in the 1st trimester and I worry about every little pain, but everything is fine.
If something was wrong would I know? Can you have a miscarriage with no bleeding? I dont know if I should go to the hospital or not my first appt is not until 2 more weeks! Is having cramping as your only symptom a bad thing?
