t do any type of woodworking (usually). But I bought a white cedar small table for the backyard, used Minwax finish (the oil type, not water). I ended up resanding it after the Minwax was on, and - here's the stupid part - didn't wear a mask at all. My lungs immediately felt heavy, and I coughed constantly for a week. I also have very mild asthma. I used my inhaler this past week on a daily basis, and seem to finally be much better today - a week after sanding the table.
I recently worked with an epoxy that I had thought was an MSDS Health rating 2, which means:
"Intense or continued exposure could cause temporary incapacitation or possible residual injury unless prompt medical attention is given."
The warnings on the package suggest to avoid eye/skin contact, avoid breathing vapors and to work in "adequate ventilation" (note that no one ever explains what this means).

a bad taste in my mouth and the back side of my tongue is very dark. I Googled it and it lists antibiotic use as a cause. Apparently its a combination of yeast and bacteria overgrowth. Anybody have this befoe? Anything I can do for it?
Hi I am not a doctor but I would think that there would be an MSDS sheet that would explain the dangers. You already know that everything you we eat breathe and put on the body has to be processed by the liver. I will try to find something. and come back.

I have had 2 bouts with tongue cancer and the removed one third of my tongue several years ago. Almost 11 months ago I developed a mouth full of ulcers and have seen sent, dentist, periodonist. Nothing has helped. My primary Dr finally suspected Sjogrens autoimmune disease and had to wait 3. Months to see a rhuemetologist. He had me get a biopsy and diagnosed Sjogrens.
For the first time I tried Flaxseed oil in a pill form, a small amount 1,000mg with food thinking it was healthy. About 20 minutes after I had it my stomach started cramping up and nausea, asthma and mucus in my nose. Not sure if the asthma might have been trigged by the nausea but my inhaler reversed it. Still feeling pretty sick. It's been about 35 minutes and not feeling well, not at all. My stomach muscles just want to throw up and are staying really tight.
A few days later, when I thought I was good to go again, I notice in the mirror my tongue had gotten this gross, brown coating on it.
After that time, I lost my voice for about a week, and though it came back, the coating on my tongue, which had mostly turned white, remained. And now it's May and still I have this coating on my tongue.
Along with it, I constantly feel this difficulty swallowing, like there's something poking at my throat.
I had lots of water. Second symptom is white little spot on tongue. And last day i noticed yellowish roof of my mouth and cheeks. Some of the doctors from internet told me to brush. I brushed over tongue. Now white colour disappeared. Now taste buds appeared and tongue became light red color. No other symptoms. Is it a serious health issue?
