My wife is 36 and diagnosed with Uveitis and on steroid eye-drops now. After lot of tests our doc suggested two reasons for it either TB or Sarcoidosis. She had no symptoms of TB so far but MT was 17mm and CT guided FNAC shows granulomatous inflammation and the chest X-ray indicated a possibility of sarcoidosis but later a board of doctors ruled out sarcoidosis. Having started the TB medication for a week we now wish to continue her treatment for UVEITIS .

Do you think this could be sarcoidosis? and Can you have both lupus and Sarcoidosis? My father has some sx also seem to fit. Would either parent have to have it for me to have it? Seems like all females in my family have health issues. Aunt with sever Rheumatoid Arthritis. Is there any genetic testing that can be done to see if this could be my health issues? Both my parents are still living but are 79 and 80yo. Any suggestions??
Why can't we find a cure for SARCOIDOSIS? Why is there not more awareness for this terrible disease? It has affected my husbands liver. He now has cirrhosis and needs a liver transplant. He can't tolerate prednisone very well. What other drugs could be used? Are there any Sarcoidosis doctors in the Cleveland Ohio area?
I have allergies and also live in Louisville, KY which is notorious for pulmonary problems. Can allergies and/mold exacerbate the sarcoidosis effects?
Then it was Chest X-ray, emergency Cat Scan, emergency visit to Pulmonologist, Hospital for Bronch, Hospital for lung biopsy. It's been quite a trip, lots of pain, mental and physical, but I was also feeling sickly too. I don't smoke, take care of myself, exercise (run, ski, bike), now I'm just trying to walk 45 minutes to an hour a day while I recover, and that has been an effort. Good luck to you, you need some better answers.

I took minocycline with rifampin for my Bart's. I had no problems with it.

he said since i been taking minocycline 100 mg daily for 2 years and using the retin a micro 0.1% for 2 years and im still breaking out i should try something new like it may be wearing off....he put me on oracea 40mg once a day and differin gel 0.3%....i was reading the paper that comes with oracea~doxycycline and it says it doesnt kill bacteria now im getting worried because minocycline does kill bacteria now im worried i will break out more from the oracea.

I started minocycline feb 10 and conceived my baby feb 21 but i didnt stop the medicine until march 9 ( only because i didnt know i was preg) im 7 weeks now and i just wanna know has anybody else expericed this with a positive outcome ?
The testing came back yesterday and I was positive for urine Gonorrhea, negative for oral, rectal, and HIV. Shypillis was still pending.
Last Saturday 24 hours after I was injected with antibiotics and taken large pills I had protected vaginal sex, and she performed brief oral sex on me with no ejaculation with same partner who is still on Minocycline. This was stupid but I thought I was clear with Minocycline.
I was off minocycline for five days before I started birth control,as starting will the minocycline still be in my system and effect the birth control?
