Make sure your diet is mostly whole foods including low-fat dairy, whole-grains, lean protein, fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and healthy oils. Don't skip breakfast. Don't get in the habit of staying up late, then rush to get to class. You need food to get your metabolism up, your energy levels will be low and you'll be starving and likely to overeat by lunch.

Avatar m tn For your age you should be consuming 2000-2200 calories per day. Suggest eating yogurt, or drinking milk with the fruit at night so you have a protein source in the meal. You need to increase the food you are eating at breakfast and lunch. Try snacking between meals and especially around dinner time at work so you get more calories in, too.

It is actually not very healthy, but is pushed for the profits from the huge agricultural feeding operations that benefit the government. You can obtain the nutrients from vegetables (: if you like the taste of milk and personally want to drink it, goat milk is the healthiest for human consumption. (Cows have multiple stomachs for a reason) If you like it though, go for a lower fat volume - like 1% or skim.

I am dye hard local organic person but I know that that isn't smart in pregnancy when it comes to raw dairy products at all! That meant in switched out my butter, cream cheese, cheeses and milk. Find a natural food store and look for grass fed organic dairy products.

If you’re a vegan, flavored pea protein, brown rice protein, or soy protein can be a substitution for chocolate milk. I don't recommend soy. But Paxiled will say don't listen to me about soy! LOL. Any one else with a milk allergy on peg/riba who can help me out here? Any suggestions on what to do when I can't eat? Like I said, it's not lactose that's a problem, it's any milk products.

As a vegetarian you should be getting all your vitamins and minerals from the foods you ate except Vitamin B12 and maybe Calcium (if you have a history of bone disease in your family). Vitamin B12 supplementation you need to take because it comes from meat sources and it not available through vegetarian diet.
