I have taken name brand Cardizem CD for years along with 3 other bp meds. The pharmacys here can't get the name brand Cardizem for some reason now so switched me to Cartia XT. I started this today early morning like I took the name brand. That was at 5;30 a.m. At 11 a.m. I took my bp and HR as I do daily. Its consistently around 110/70 with HR in upper 40s to low 50s. Never gets above 70 as EP wants it this way due to an autonomic dysfunction. It was 145/92 HR 64.

Major stopped manufacturing their brand of generic dessicated (Armour equivalent) forever. But I found a few months available. Although 1 grain equals 65mg not 60 like Armour. More weight in fillers I guess, as it has 38 mgT4 and 9 mg T3 per grain just like Armour. My question is for any one that has used this Major Thyroid in the past and also used Armour. I could not have had high blood pressure when I was a child so Im putting it down to maybe an ingredients in this medication.I had to get a new script and was given the generic brand if micardis and I had a few miagraine symptoms again.Switched back to the marcardis brand ,and back to being headache free.It has mad a big difference to my life having headaches and being unable to do what you want to do because of this horrible problem.Dont know if this will help anybody else but itd help me.
