Hi ladies ! I was given this drug to help with BV. I'm currently 23 weeks as of today, and this is my first baby. Have any of you taken it before and had any issues? That's 3500 mg of acetaminophen which isn't a huge amount. It is quite a bit if taken at one time though but to be honest I have taken much more than that at once and for a extended period of time. Luckily I didn't do any damage to my liver or kidneys. You should be just fine since you haven't made a habit out of it. As I'm sure you know, mixing alcohol with acetaminophen is a very bad combination so make sure you don't do that again.
at first i didnt bother it but after my medication in soar throat and allergy(urcatitaria), my vagina started to became itchy and again, everyday i started having green discharged for `1 week. i went to a gynecologist and she prescribed me a metronidazole miconazole vaginal suppository and ive used that for `1 week.. now what my problem is, my white discharge had stop.. i am also currently taking up medice for my UTI and had experiexed sex but that was like long time ago...

I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?

Oxycodone 5mg is not stronger than Oxycodone 10mg with acetaminophen. The acetaminophen has nothing to do with the strength of the oxycodone. However as suggested above it may be that her physician is concerned about the long term effects of acetaminophen.
The mind is powerful. I believe in being truthful with ppl especially when it comes to their health care. I wouldn't encourage you to lie to her but if she doesn't ask you're not being untruthful.

Well, this medication is the gold standard for bacterial vaginosis. Is this what you are taking it for? BV can be passed sexually. You can give your partner BV that they then pass back to you or be reinfected through unprotected sex. BV is hard to get rid of in general let alone if you are exposing yourself to it over and over. Often, when an infection won't clear, the sex partner of someone with it is also treated with flagyl. So, using a condom would be smart in this instance.
I took metronidazole gel at about 20 weeks for bv and baby is fine now at about 28 weeks
Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet.
Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.

Dis-spine has offered you some good suggestions. Don't be overly concerned with the recent "scare" you are hearing about acetaminophen (Tylenol) in thre media. They don't provide all the facts.
The real concern is not the few lortabs you take but any additional acetaminophen you might add to your system. Pick up a bottle of cold medicine, cough suppressant, sleep aid or a similar product and read the label. Most of them contain acetaminophen.
ve been using Opana (oxymorphone) ER twice daily and a small dose of oxymorphone IR for breakthrough pain. It has worked well for me, contains no acetaminophen, is okay with my hepatologist, and has fewer supply hassles than OxyContin did. (The pharmacies always seemed to be unable to get enough OxyContin!) Good luck to you.
Do not use TYLENOL® with other acetaminophen-containing products. Always read and follow label directions. Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) of acetaminophen may cause liver damage. In small doses (less than 4 grams per day, or eight pills taken over a twenty-four hour period of time) acetaminophen is quite safe for the liver—unless combined with alcoholic beverages.
For example many cold relievers, sleep aids and the like also contain acetaminophen. I avoid those medications. I never take anything with acetaminophen other than the pain medication.
So drink plenty of fluids to help your liver and kidneys cleanse your system, unless contraindicated. Discuss this with your prescribing physician. And before you take any herbal supplement always consult with your physician. Mine does not approve of most of them.
