Common Questions and Answers about Metronidazole shelf life

Akira's vet told me she will have to take Metronidazole indefinitely. It helps, since she vomits a lot less with it, but she still vomits at least once during the night. She actually tried to make it to vomit in her litter box last night, as I found it near the litter box in the bathroom. It's mainly bile, so at least she is getting the most out of her food.
com/forum/source/newsday/TPSS8QRGJM6D4MVVA/p19#c388 [Posted 8-21, added here 8-28] My baby passed this last Friday, the only treats she has ever eaten was the Waggin Trail Chicken Jerky Tenders, all her life she was happy and healthy, and in a matter of less than two weeks with several trips to the vet she could not be saved.
I too suffer from this terrible disorder and it's completely ruined my life! I've had to abstain from socializing with people, my love life is in shambles because of it, my family thinks i'm anti-social for not wanting to be too close to them, I apparently make classroom settings unpleasant as I notice my classmates cupping their noses shut and it's completely drained the life out of me. Waking up each day is a nightmare as I know that stupid smell is going to be there.
Or go to the drugstore and pick up a Home Access HIV test. Sometimes you have to ask for it, and other times it's on the shelf. But just to bury your head in the sand and wait to die b/c you don't want to be fired? Do you understand how ridiculous that sounds?
terminated early due to edema) -- [drug holiday -- 2 months] -- azithromycin and metronidazole -- 5 months (terminated due to systemic fungal infection from yeast-based probiotics intended to *prevent* fungal infection -- but yeast is a fungus, and it colonized my body) It took me a long time to stabilize and get rid of the fungal infection, and at that point was too worn out to go back on meds. Note that I was never on doxycycline.
the other three were soft, but brown stools also with access mucus. I am taking an off the shelf pro-biotic and eating one activia yogurt per day, as of Sunday 8-21. I notice today I am burping more than normal. I always feel like I have to go to the bathroom, but if anything comes out at all most times, it is drips of mucus.
I'm just really hoping this doesn't rule my life and that me and my son ( if he has it) can eventually be Lyme free - I hope this can happen? Youvegottobekidding ... Have you heard of eye issues and congenital lyme? Another one of my worrys :( I am going to contact dr jones again I tried once but the woman told me he doesn't deal with phone patents :s Thanks again for all of your help - what abx was your son on? Does he have a co infection?
I have had two or three in my life and do not use drugs or anitibiotics to treat it. In fact antibiotics only worsen the problem because they kill off all the bacteria in the body even the good bacteria our bodies need to be in a healthy balance. I only use the natural approach to healing ailments. Doctors and pharmaceutical companies want your money, they only give bandaid solutions....in other words they promote sickness not health. Beware!
Feels like you're gonna have a heavy-duty nosebleed then a huge discharge of yellow-marker colered liquid, completely ouf of nowhere, but moreso when you bend over to pick up something. Never had any sinusitis in my life. Never any brain or abcess problems. Back to now, I'm on antibiotics (Biaxin) because of a pneumonia, day 7 of 10. The yellow-liquid-pouring-all-of-a-sudden phenomenon have kicked in yesterday, still going on at regular intervals.
I have the same horrible smell but only when I'm having sex - after an orgasm, I don't smell it any other time, the outside of my vagina doesn't smell; it's something inside...I wash after sex and it's gone but it's definitely ruining my sex life because all I can think about during sex is "the smell". I always use condoms so my situation has nothing to do with sperm. My doctor recommended pills (trazodone) and a gel (vandazole), it cleared it up for a few months but it's back.
If you expect a risk-free life, with massive compensation should things don’t work out, then don't try this. So, why is this book manuscript free? The physician who reviewed it said, “The materials cost less than $5.00, so there’s no income, and if, on the outside chance, a patient falls in the shower, they can sue me. What doctor’s gonna recommend this?” He’s right, doctors aren’t stupid—that’s why they’re doctors.
I've suffered from a severe case of IBS (Irritable Bowel) for most of my life, and have had cases such as this happen to me often. It may or may not be related to some form of allergy. You should contact a specialist (gastro-intestinal), and please be sure to drink water, for the diarrhea and sweating can dangerously dehydrate you. It may also be the case of why you get so dizzy.
Let me tell you that cream was a life saver . I had tried everything, Differant MD's telling me this and giving me that. That biopsy made life a whole lot better. Now I control it. But, I still have itching till this day. I have learned to live with it. I was told by a MD once "IT is a old lady disease". I really had trouble when I was younger thinking I had to live with this the rest of my life. I have to take that med with me evrytime I go overnight anywhere.
If you go and start treating yourself without a diagnosis, this could really lead to a life of pain and discomfort. Those treatments are harsh and cause destruction of sensitive tissues. Constant irritation can and does lead to painful vulvar symptoms.
I am looking at colleges to apply to. I have been smiling all day and can't believe I have a second chance at life. But I'm sorry I let you down.
Are there any other cures/solutions? I can not bear the thought of having to endure this torture the rest of my life. Makes me want to cry!
