154668 tn?1290115995 I heard from my trial nurse about keeping the bocep refrigerated. She said not to worry about keeping it refrigerated. They keep it refrigerated until they disperse it and we consume it before there would be any degradation. Another travel tip when you travel out of the country. You will not be able to send your dosing information. Enter information as normal and don’t send, but do save. When you return be sure you battery is charged and then send. It will send all of the saved data.

Avatar n tn Lantus can be left unfridgerated for weeks at room temperature and not be spoiled, as long at temperatures are reasonably cool, and the liquid remain clear. This is not, of course recommended. And not desirable. On the other hand, it will lose effectiveness, which means you may not be able to precisely titrate a dose. It's kind of expensive, so there is no need to discard it for such a short period without refrigeration.
Avatar n tn I wouldn't personally focus on reuteri and the saccharomyces at this time. The reason official guidance is to not give antibiotics for ear infections as they almost always go away by themselves is exactly what's happened to you. They destroy the flora that protects us and helps our digestion. The usual advice when taking antibiotics if you have to do it is to take a multi-spectrum probiotic from the refrigerated section of the best health food store in your area.
Avatar f tn she does not keep the pens that are being used, refrigerated, only the unused ones. Although even though they are not kept refrigerated, they do seem to keep her blood sugars under control. I wonder though if they were refrigerated would that make a big difference? I will call her physician if necessary. I only see her once a week, another nurse sees her the other 6 days.
681148 tn?1437661591 I can sure say I am not in favor of Metronidazole treatment especially not as a permanent treatment...there are many side effects http://www.petplace.com/cats/metronidazole-flagyl-toxicity-in-cats/page1.aspx have you tried Slippery Elm Bark? this is a wonderful supplement for GI upsets it soothes the GI tract and reduces inflamation...and none of the serious side effects of the Metr. drug. also how about ginger and digestive enzymes???? these are all good for gastritis issues.
Avatar n tn If u dont know u pregnant are not can u still take it nd it not goin to harm the baby

Avatar f tn Is It At All Possible You Are Pregnant???
Avatar n tn For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily). I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm. My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night? I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. Im just wondering if two days is enough time?
Avatar f tn Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet. Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.
1472764 tn?1287588186 Has anyone ever used oral metronidazole for a vaginal bacterial infection? I'm on my 5th of 7th day and have developed a very thick clear to cloudy mucousy discharge. Is this normal. I know the gel form will pull everything out in a thick white chunky discharge but does the oral pill.
Avatar f tn I'm not sure bout it being refrigerated but I know it can stay in the freezer for a couple of months
Avatar n tn Novalog insulin vials have an expiration date stamped on the side. Unopened insulin loses their efficiency once this date is reached, even when refrigerated.
Avatar f tn Is it safe to add fresh breast milk to already refrigerated breast milk and feed it to your baby?
Avatar f tn Lynda, I have it at room temp now and am planning to keep it that way. My concern is that it has been refrigerated for as long as it's been stored at the pharmacy. How will I know if it's been ruined? Sue, I see your point, and I think that boceprevir is supposed to be refrigerated, as well. However, it's not what it says on the box for this particular protease inhibitor. Thanks so much to both of you for taking the time to respond. S.
Avatar f tn Also after i have finished the metronidazole pills does that mean the (BV) odor has gone away?
