i have went to bathroom and a few times, there has been clear mucus like substance in it. just wondering if anyone had any clue what this might be?
So 10 days ago I cam back from Mexico on vacation two days later I started to have dysuria (painful urination). I went in to my PCP and he checked for all STD's and gave me Cipro. After 5 days it wasn't helping and the tests gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV and others were all negative. I came back in and was tested Trichomoniasis gonorrhea, and chlamydia while being prescribed metronidazole and azithromycin as prophylactic.
bone marrow normal negative xrays, sonogram RBCs do not clump will not eat, but drinking very lethargic vet has no answers put her on zanex, metronidazole, and sucralfate could this be some form of cancer?
About a month ago, we were told by our vet that Penny, our 4 month old great dane puppy, had giardia in her stool sample. At the time she didn't seem to be showing any symptoms (no soft stool, etc), and our breeder had assured us upon her call that she had been dewormed with Panacur (fenbendazole) and that everything should be fine. Our vet gave us 2 weeks of what I believe was metronidazole.
About a week ago Penny started having very soft stool.
I'm not a doctor so please consult professional medical advice. In my uneducated opinion it sounds like you may have had a fissure that was infected with a fungus (possibly from the sausage). That may explain why the antibiotics didn't help.
Anal stimulation is perfectly normal and healthy, however you have to make sure you do it slowly and not go beyond what your body is telling you (lube is also important).

Im using metronidazole miconizole suppository second.time again my bv back but the second time is much lighter and not as bad as first time, i used half of the sup i break them in two that time and i guess the reason on second time it didnt cleared up. Now in third time i bought 4 sups and on dayone it went okay. I didnt feel anything untik with day two it started to buble up some whitish that smells like my sup i wanna say my vagina washed away the metronidazole is that a process of changing?
Thanks for the tip on trying to gargle with Grapefruit Seed Extract. They sell it in liquid form at the VitamineShoppe near my house, I guess I could give it a shot. Heck.. I'll try anything. I cant believe after this many months my hairy tongue is still there :(

I am a para-medical PhD student, and I used embalmed cadavers for my research. Yesterday I was dissecting blood vessels in muscle tissues. The vessels did have semi-liquid blood inside them. while dissecting I pricked my finger with the scalpel which had some blood on it. The wound wasn't bad, but still bleeding a little. I squeezed some blood out and washed my finger.
I am not sure how well the cadaver is embalmed and I know it has not been screened.
For the past year, my wife has been having almost constant liquid pass and the area around her anus is just totally sore. Our new GI is treating it like IBS/Colitis with wechol and other meds.
My wife lost her entire colon to cancer some years ago. They made a J pouch of small intestine and did anastamosis to her anus via stripped rectum (IPAA) and she has always had frequent loose bowel movements, but not liquid.
They do not pop like a pimple. They will sometimes form a white-ish head but I go to pop it and only clear liquid comes out. Every once in a while it will act or look like it is clearing up, but then I am back to where I started again. I wash my face day and night with Dove soap for sensitive skin, followed by an application of Witch Hazel. It is not from an allergy either. It does not itch. It is annoying and I feel like I am 15 again!
My 11 yr old yorkie is having mucus stools. Vet gave her metronidazole. To no avail. Both yorkies have eaten flint river pup food until about 2 months ago I changed them to senior formula. Vet also gave pro pectalin pills. No good. I started her on plain rice today and will try pumpkin.
I am very frustrated with my vet as he seems not to explore many possibilities.
I have a question that I have always wondered about Methadone, but never wanted to ask a Dr. LOL. I understand that it comes in pill form and liquid form. What is the difference between the prescribing of it? Such as, why would a Dr. prescribe you the pill form instead of the liquid form, or why would they prescribe the liquid instead of the pill? I understand Hydrocodone comes the same way.
t believe it to be a toxin due to the fact that the first time in showed in the first kitten they were living in my barn and the second kitten showed it when living in my house. We did look at a blood smear from the mother cat that died to see if there could be babesia or any foreign signs - clear. The vets here in NH keep telling me that they see a "lot of bloody and just diarrhea" to me this is just not normal.

After ur response I went back to the clinic, and asked him to treat me for an NGU, I took Metronidazole 2 g orally in a single dose and now feel much better. Thanks......I'm never gettin a ** without a dome again, learned my lesson.
perhaps i can go to my doctor after 2 to 3 mos because still dont have a job right now/.. in case you didnt know, i live in the philippines.. here, people are always having a hard time looking for a job.. anyway ill keep you posted..
i still have a yellow discharge and i do frequent urination esp during the night.. can i ask u what fruits and veggies do i have to eat to lessen or to prevent this sickness from being severe.. thank u so much doctor..
