Well it's been like over 3 weeks since I had sex and am taking birth control and just this week I been getting this yellow discharge and at first I thought it was normal but than it started to smell kinda funny and I don't know what it can be
I started to get bladder pressure and burning and thats why I went in to the obgyn yesterday. She prescribed me this gel and I started taking it yesterday and twice today morning and evening. Tonight when I used the tube I took it out and it had a few specks of almost blood clot looking things. Its really weird and I am not on my period nor expecting it for 6 days. Could this be a bad side effect of the gel?

I was on vacation so called my GYN who suspected I had bacterial vaginosis (BV). She prescribed me a 5 day course of metronidazole gel, which I just completed. The smell seems mostly better, but the discharge is still fairly significant (enough that I need to wear a sanitary pad) and I'm concerned that the symptoms haven't gone away after treatment. The doctor's office isn't open for another 2 days because of the holiday weekend.
go to Gyn most likely is a bacteria vaginal infection they will probably give u Metronidazole Vaginal Gel,0.75% it get right back the way it supposed to smell and u will be felling very confident.
