metronidazole and weed

I visited the doctor Monday with a vaginal infection and was given Metronidazole to start taking. I went back for results Wednesday and I was confirmed to have BV. My doctor then gave me Erythromycin to take (2, twice a day)... as well as the Metronidazole (3, three times a day). This seems like an awful lot of antibiotics. Why was I given Erythromycin, when from as far as I can tell, Metronidazole alone is the recommended treatment for BV? Hope someone can shed some light on this. Thanks!

at first i didnt bother it but after my medication in soar throat and allergy(urcatitaria), my vagina started to became itchy and again, everyday i started having green discharged for `1 week. i went to a gynecologist and she prescribed me a metronidazole miconazole vaginal suppository and ive used that for `1 week.. now what my problem is, my white discharge had stop.. i am also currently taking up medice for my UTI and had experiexed sex but that was like long time ago...

Metronidazole can cause diarrhea as a side effect. But it may be also working on the infective cause of your dog's illness in the first place, so don't stop it without speaking to your vet. Meanwhile keep your dog hydrated. If you can find an unflavoured electrolyte drink like Pedialyte that would be great. Plain water would do for a short time but Pedialyte would be better.

I took metronidazole gel at about 20 weeks for bv and baby is fine now at about 28 weeks

I am 30 weeks and I took it and it caused me to have seizures and stop breathing

m currently 23 weeks as of today, and this is my first baby. Have any of you taken it before and had any issues? I know my doctor wouldnt give me anything harmful to the baby, but it still just scares me. Any tips would help! Thank you & i hope you guys are doing great!!

I was prescribed it last week for a bacterial infection. Took it 4 times and my face started to break out in a rash. Called the pharmacist and then the doctor. Both said i was having an allergic reaction to the medicine. Both said to stop taking it. I go to the doctor next week to ddiscuss other options. So just watch out for that.....

Has anyone ever used oral metronidazole for a vaginal bacterial infection? I'm on my 5th of 7th day and have developed a very thick clear to cloudy mucousy discharge. Is this normal. I know the gel form will pull everything out in a thick white chunky discharge but does the oral pill.

My heart beat is erratic most of the time anyway but when I tried taking flagyl for campylobacter, it didn't affect my heart at all. I just got extremely sick and intestinal issues worsened. They had to switch me.

For the past ten days I have been taking Metronidazole (Two 250mg oral tablets, twice daily). I took my last pills lastnight around 10:30 pm. My question is, would it be okay for me to consume alcohol on Saturday night? I know my pharmacist told me to absolutely stay away from alcohol while I was taking the pills because I would vomit alot, and he said most people wait a couple of days after they've finished before they drink. I went to the obgyn last week they ran urine samples and std tests and everything was okay, I told them I’m spotting still for two weeks now three and cramping the test came back for BV so they prescribed me Metronidazole I felt way too anxious about taking it , Friday I went in for a ultrasound and pelvic ultrasound I believe and got the results today that it was fine. They now prescribed me clindamycin gel which I will pick up tomorrow due to pharmacy out of stock.

Hi my name is jennifer I been taking antibiotics for the past 2 weeks, Omeprazole 20 mg, Metronidazole 500 mg and Clarithromycin 500 mg and also I been taking my birth control pills for the past 3 weeks (Jolivette). I jus found out today I am pregnant. I'm concer with the health of the unborn baby. I am worry if the any possibility of births defects and any other problem related to the medications.

as regards liver i have no idea, try to google oxidative stress and weed, if weed can increase oxidative stress it is definitely bad Is it as dangerous as alchohal? no, alcool can be much more dangerous than hbv itself even on those with no hbv.

i was given doxycycline and more metronidazole and finished these about three weeks ago. the tests results for stds and candida all came back negative, but the sympoms are still present. i am going back to the gum the next time i can get away from work, but no one has been able to tell me what kind of infection this is or what kind of treatment will work. i would think it was only bv but the doctor said that it was an infection of some kind.

The doctor prescribed me a mega dose of the metronidazole and said I should feel better in 24 hours. I did NOT feel better in 24 hrs I waited a week because everything online kept telling me the symptoms could take a week to subside but when they didn’t I called my doctor and she prescribed me another mega dose. Hi and sorry you got the run around. You can carry C. difficile and if you don't have symptoms and since you don't have the toxin B then you don't need treatment. So, if you don't have symptoms you don't need the antibiotic. If you want to finish the course of metronidazole for the parasite you can even though they didn't find one. Sometimes it takes several specimens to find one. Do you have diarrhea? If so, how often do you have diarrhea per day? Or are you over it?

The weed is a mild hallucinogen so the main thing it will do is intensify your psychosis a little. I used to smoke weed to deal with my schizoaffective/bipolar symptoms and it helped for a while. If you're taking the antipsychotics then you should cut WAY down on the weed. Your body has to fight through everything you put in it to keep you healthy and if it's trying to use the AP's to fix your mental issues, it'll be fighting through the THC to get to your brain.

t know if the medication with the weed is good or if it is making my condition worse in noticeably but as of right now I have had literally no problems with smoking while having svt and being ON medication. I have no idea if you will be ok smoking weed while having svt and being off medication.

My friend smoked weed for years and she found out she was pregnant she quit. Sober for 5mnths. Had 2 failed USA due to just finding out she was pregnant. She called me told me she hit a pipe cause she was really upset and couldn't calm down.

I got lightheaded and felt I was going to faint . I quickly wiped and a lot of bright red blood was on the toilet paper on first couple wipes, after several wipes it was clean. I wouldnt risk it.. I lost two babies and Im pregnant with my third Im now 34+1 and feel blessed I have made it this far.. I have a cerclage in that is literally tearing my cervix apart I went to L and D yesterday and I refused to get it removed bc I dont want her to be born this early.. I wouldnt sacrifice the health of you're baby just bc you like to smoke pot.. when you have the baby you can go back to doing what u like! I know you can do it! best of luck to you!
