Coming off something like adderall is in no way, shape or form as hard as painkillers so I know you can do it. Just drink lots of juice, have some tylenol just in case.

I have even been given Methylin to try and help get me reved up. Does not help either! So, I do not know what else they could possibly have in their bag of tricks for folks like us...But, I hope it is something and soon ;0

Do yourself a favor and try all other options before turning to adderall. I was addicted to adderall. I just finished physical withdrawals and now I'm dealing with phychatric withdrawals. This drug is sold on the streets and you might find yourself needing more and more in order for it to work. Just be careful! I just don't want anyone to go through what I just experienced! I thinks it's crazy they give this stuff to kids.

I know it's been some time since I last posted something. I was able to get the 120 mg of Adderall xr , and I was feeling better. I wanted to give Dexedrine a chance so as to take a break from Adderall, I was given Dexedrine spansules 90 mg. It is smoother compared to the Adderall, but it doesn't last long as the 120 of Adderall. Dexedrine did bring hope to me as in being another choice other than Adderall, but the 90 mg is not doing it.
How about you try food supplements that have shown to have equal efficacy to Ritalin,Multiple vitimin with B Complex and Vit C . also Fish oil and been tried by many parents,with success, go into your local whole food store,if you have one called "Sprouts "they are very good and will go online for you to find what you need in a Natural Remedy to help you.If the drugs you have been trying dont work its time to find something less invasive that will, Good Luck.
I recently had to switch my add meds from adderall xr to vyvanse and I am on day 2 and I feel like I havnt taken anything. I am extremely tired, have anxiety with everything going on around me at once, and I cant concentrate at all, I walked around my kitchen for 15 minutes not knowing why i wass but knew there was a reason then finally got my car keys that i was needing to get in the first place. Is this normal?
About a month ago I began to get a bitter taste in my mouth and it's progressively gotten worse. It's to the point that almost everything tastes horrible..I can't stand it. I will literally shiver eating foods I used to enjoy because they taste so bad. Is this due to Adderall? I've been on it since Jan. 2020 with no issues, so I just don't get why this would start now. Does anyone else have this issue?? How did you cure it?
Please do not think this is the adderall alone, I have just recently started taking the adderall again in the last 3 days and I have noticed before that I forget to breathe when I was not on the adderall. I do however think what happened to me in the car is because the adderall is making my sleep worse.
Personally I would get rid of the Adderall and try to a withdrawal from Xanax and maybe go with an SNRI. Maybe adding Wellbutrin with the SNRI or other antidepressants. See, you can try different combination and the odds are good that you will eventually find something that works.
Anyway it's probably all issues you will discuss with your new doctor in June.
Hi, just a few questions and wondering if anyone here has had a similar experience or any thoughts or ideas. I've been diagnosed add/depression/anxiety. I've been on ativan, adderall, celexa, lexapro, and recently zoloft. I used the ativan for a short period of time for anxiety, but didn't want to make it long term for the risks involved although it helped my anxiety a lot and relieved some depression from that.
Adderall 10 mg = Vyvanse 30 mg, Adderall 20 mg = Vyvanse 50 mg, Adderall 30 mg = Vyvanse 70 mg. I always start lower than expected with a change to Vyvanse, as for about 10-15% that anticipated dose of Vyvanse proves too much. I don’t want folks on my watch to experience 10% problems."

Hi Bob, Adderall is an amphetamine, right? Do you have any weird side effects from it? And do you think you can become addicted to it? Our nurse coordinator and my neuro set me up with the one I'm on now, first, because they said all of the other ones are amphetamines.
I haven't heard of this one before, so I'll have to look it up. That's really inexpensive compared to some of the prices I've seen out there for Provigil.
Amphetamine make me a little afraid....
