My husband has been having ed problems for several years now, Collis helped a bit but not much. He has zero libido which is probably resulting from meds (methadone, cymbalta, abilify)...
Lately, however he's been getting sort of a half erection randomly throughout the day and he says his whole penis hurts really badly.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like this?

I am in a torment myself and am on 7.5mg of methadone. Methadone is 6X a higher drug than most. Not to get alarmed about if we r doing what we r suppose to do and under a doctor's care and all.

Ok, I have been on Methadone for almost 3 years. I only take 30mg a day. I take it for scoliosis and for the past year, I have been giving my husband a half to one pill a day. (he has bad knees and it helps very little, but enough to let him work without a whole lot of pain). I really feel guilty for giving him any to begin with because when ever I get down to my last week or 2, I am really low.

Fighting the mental battle of addiction is what most people lose. Since you're having trouble tapering or detoxing cold turkey, why not get some professional help from a proper doctor? Not all clinics or doctors operate in the same way.
I don't have personal experience with Methadone but I do know what it is like to live a life controlled by a substance. Mine was mainly Tramadol, but over the 15 years I used/abused pretty much every opiate out there at one time or another. When I quit about 9 months ago I was taking extremely high doses of several different painkillers. My life literally revolved around pills from the moment I woke up until the moment I went to bed at night.
I' have been going to the methadone clinic for almost three years due to being addicted to Percocet after hurting my back during labor and being prescribed them for four Years. I decided I was going to taper off the methadone and I got down to 30 mg ( my highest does was 40) and then I found out I was pregnant. I was devastated at first bc I knew I could no longer taper.. I had my baby girl six months ago and as soon as she came out I started my taper again..

I love wiki! I noted that lab results of my recent ER visit showed high levels of neutrophils, but supposedly within the normal range. Following that, I discovered that it isn't the bacteria or filaria, whichever I have, sealing themselves in. It's my immune system trying to seal them out via a process discovered in 2004, known as Neutrophil extracellular traps. Webs! I couldn't understand what was making the webs, now I know. Something new everyday.
