Hello Lass,First off is this just routine,or is their some reason of diversion like due you work as a nurse ,and if so,are they checking only you or are you on a Methadone program and all they want to know is there any hydrocodone in yopur system to bebin with,as same not so bright addicts say that they are on this and that and when they run a urine screen,nothing shows up,even the drug that they say is their drug of choice.

12 of this year I took 1, 10mg valium. This past Monday Dec.5th I had to take a drug screen. It came up positive for benzos(Valium,Xanax,etc...). They do not tolerate u taking benzos and methadone,b/c obviously it is extremely dangerous. So they dropped me from 150mgs to 70mgs, which will for sure put me in withdrawal within the next 2days. I told the doctor it had been almost a month ago since I had taken this valium, and he might as well as called me a liar.
There is no way that a drug screen would come back positive after 13 days on one percocet. Especially just one 5mg tablet. They stay in your system for up to 3 days I use to take them and test negative 24 hours later. It depends on how much you are taking and how often but not even heavy usage would stay in your system for that long.
will suboxone show up on a standard employer drugs screen i heard it wont but not sure i was also wondering how often or common it is for employers to test for suboxone. I was always under the ***-u-mption that it had to be speicificley tested for. it takes a while as the drug has a long half life...urine drug screens for jobs test for benzos, pot, cocaine, narcotics (not sub tho) but i do think methadone shows up on most 10 panel drug screens..5 panel are cheaper and what my hospital uses and hydro doesnt even show up..only morphine and codeine being the 2 true narcotics and the rest like oxy and hydro are synthetic...plus u have a scrip for the sub..dont worry..
every 2 weeks, dropping from 190mg to my present dose of 95mg. Today, I got a call from clinic saying I failed a drug screen (first one ever). It was a false positive based on my eating lots of poppy seeds in my food lately hoping that the minute amounts of opiates would help ease my drops. My counselor swears I used something, but I didn't. Why lie here, ya know.
So that is a very big incentive to stay clean, as if he is tested and found pos for even one urine or swab screen, he is taken OFF the list and put back to the bottom, for one year he has to attend groups and N.A. meetings ,etc.

I was given a urine drug screen last night that tested positive for benzos. I have not been on any tranquilizers! My current medication regime includes Effexor XR 150mg bid, Seroquel 200mg, taking 400mg qhs, Betaseron 1cc qod subq. I was put on Bactrim last week bid for 5 days for a urinary tract infection. In May, June and part of July I was taking Trazdone 200mg qhs, but then switched back to Seroquel 200mg, taking 400mg qhs. I am confused as to what caused the positive test for benzos?
Dehydration will not effect a drug screen either. It is not rare for a urine drug screen to be in error. Unfortunately like so many other ppl that have erroneous drug screen there really is no recourse for you. I wish I had better answers for you.

Promethazine is not a narcotic like methadone. It would not show up on a drug screen that is specifically ordered to look for narcotics. If a wider screen is ordered, then it would show up as what it is - promethazine, brand name phenergan.
You jeopardized your pain treatment by breaking your contract. I'm unsure if the cough medicine you obtained came off the streets or was prescribed by a doctor.
Welcome to the forum..I was in a methadone clinic here in Michigan...we were allowed to take pretty much anything if we had a rx for it..That is unfortunate that they don;t allow that..i am sorry..does your friend that gave you the "sample" take methadone? they tested for it at the clinic i was at to make sure it was in fact in your system..you need to really makes sure it is the right temp...I understand how bad it sux to not have take homes..Do you get a week?
I'm pretty sure methadone would deff show up in drug test. It's a strong long lasting drug.
